Sister's Soul Express — Restaurant in Dothan

WOW! I have been wanting to try this place and got the chance, finally, today! Visited their FaceBook page and followed them after looking at their menu! I Love Good Food and these Folks KNOW what they are doing! I am very Excited because they offer Blackened and Grilled choices for several of their meat's. No one in my family can eat fried food anymore, Beef or Pork due to health issues and now I know where to come to get Excellent food! And it is Not overpriced! I Called me and my family's order in after running a couple of errands and picked it up thru the drive thru. The person that took my order was super friendly and didn't mind refreshing my memory about the dessert's they offered, the person at the drive thru was super friendly, met me with a pleasant attitude, had my food ready and made sure I had a Menu for later, Great Personality! Listen, why there’s not a mile long line into Sisters’ beats the Hell out of me. My wife and I had a fabulous HOME COOKED meal, at a fair price, with terrific service. Just awesome! I My wife had a (cooked to order) seafood platter with 5-6 large perfectly fried shrimp, a large fillet of blackened grouper, an old-fashioned salmon croquette, a stack of homemade onion rings and perfectly cooked - and seasoned - butter beans. Wow!

I had the crispy fried chicken (breast & wing) with collard greens, butter beans, perfectly crispy fried okra, and cornbread. So fine!

We took home a to-go slice of butternut cake, because we had no room left.

The guy who waited on us was very nice, attentive, and had obvious pride in his work & their food. He should have pride in both, as everything was spot on, EXCELLENT.

I really don't like wasting money on food.I tried this place because the first place I went to wasn't open.so after reading the reviews I stopped.wish I would've kept looking.I ordered my favorite meal of meatloaf dressing and collards.I asked the waitress taking my order if the dressing was good and she says it's"delicious"so I ordered extra dressing.I get all the way back to my motel and sit down to eat and I'm looking at the"dressing" that is literally nothing but cornbread and water then baked.No seasoning peppers onions NOTHING!
