Terrible experience!
The Quiet Man is A Tale of Two Tragedies!
Ah, The Quiet Man! A fine establishment… or at least, it was before it was hijacked by two unstoppable forces of destruction: The Men Who Would Not Stop Talking and The Playpen That Time Forgot.
Let’s start with the men. You know the type—middle-aged, pint-clutching philosophers who believe the entire pub is their personal podcast studio. I was treated to an unsolicited three-hour lecture on “why footballers don’t deserve their wages” and “the golden days of British television” (which, according to them, ended in 1998). Read moreI love, love, love the Quiet Man! If you want exceptional food, outstanding service and a warm, interesting ambiance….the Quiet Man is the place to go. They excel at upholding the tradition of allowing you to complete your appetizer before your salad and main meal arrive. The food is beyond compare, the chef has been there for over 40 years and delivers outstanding food every time. I highly recommend the Quiet Man as an exceptional place to go for a family meal or to impress your out-of-town guests. My most favorite restaurant to eat at in Dover, NJ! The food is exceptional, delicious, served piping hot and beautiful to look at right before you dig in...their presentation is artistic and colorfully (my own word) exciting! I feel joyful eating here. The waitstaff is attentive, wonderfully welcoming and treat you like family. Why would you...
