The food here is always decent but this place is a mess service wise. Three weeks ago, I called to place a phone order and was told “we can’t take phone orders right now because we are understaffed, but you’re welcome to come in and place an order“. I couldn’t really understand how I could walk into place an order but couldn’t call an order in. Weird…
Tonight, I placed an online order. The system told me it would take 45 minutes to complete my order. Usually… It only takes 10 to 12 minutes. I chalk this up to them probably being understaffed and very busy around dinner time… Fair enough.
When I arrived at 6:15 to pick up my order, I found six employees scurrying around with no direction and no plan. I waited 10 more minutes (with two very hungry kids in the car) and finally asked “Do you have my order there“? The girl behind the counter replied “it’s here somewhere… I think over there in that pile of papers…“ at 6:30, one of my pizzas finally made it out of the oven only to discover that the other one had not even been made yet… A full hour from my phone order and the pizza hadn’t even been made.
In addition to this, while I was waiting, I observed an extremely messy preparation area, inexperienced employees fumbling around with no clear leadership present. The girl who cuts the pizzas cannot figure out how to cut six even slices of pizza. It’s always two tiny pieces, two correctly sized pieces and two giant pieces. All the while I was waiting for my order, all I heard was complaints from the people behind the counter about how busy they were and how stressful it was… Blah blah blah…
Steer clear of this location for a while until they get their management sorted out in their corporate training established. Otherwise… You’ll be in for a very...
Read moreOrdered before 3 people and my pizzas came out last, lost over 45 minutes of my time. I watched as the person putting the pizzas in the oven grab from the bottom instead of the top of the rack. The guy added 2 to 3 pizzas at at the bottom and she kept grabbing from the bottom instead of the top, I don't work at mod and I know you should grab from the top of the rack down, thats the order of the pizzas. The cashier then gave a lame excuse that our pizzas took longer because we added more cheese, that probably cooks the fastest and the crust takes longer. That same cashier said under breath "that's not my problem" that 3 orders of multiple pizzas were done 1st even though we ordered and ours were prepared 1st. The same cashier also talked about the previous customers that were before us in front of us, its glass between us, not sound proof. The guy that prepared our order made 6 pizzas on his own then our 2 pizzas. The cashier took that entire time to charge that person for the 6 pizzas. Then when some white customers came in that cashier stopped what she was doing and took orders. I had to watch the guy make 6 pizzas quickly by himeself, guess theres no team in Mod. MOD needs to retrain...
Read moreMy first time being here and I’m not sure I would go back. I walked into the store around 9pm, didn’t receive a warm welcoming, I could tell the lady at the counter wasn’t in the best of moods. I proceeded to walk up to the counter, it being my first time I had no idea what was on the menu or what the options were at the counter. Nothing has labels on it and the lady behind the counter wasn’t saying anything and just kept asking What I wanted. Didn’t make any suggestions, just kinda stared at me. How I’m I suppose to know What I want, when I don’t even know what is being offered? In my frustration I just ordered a plain cheese pizza. The lady behind the counter was less than thrilled making the food, didn’t talk or make conversation, I felt awkward and uncomfortable, like I was inconvenience to her. Finally I receive my pizza and it was slightly burnt on the bottom. It tasted alright but I was very disappointed in the customer service. Maybe another location would be better but after this experience I don’t know if I would ever consider going back or recommending this place to...
