McDonald's — Restaurant in Downers Grove

Update from my HORRIBLE customer service experience at the Dunkin Donuts locates 1931 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove, Il. Where I was yelled out by an employee to the point where saliva was coming out of his mouth, and was told to shut up and get out of the store when i asked for a refund.. all because he was changing garbage and began fixing my coffee without washing his hands and I called him out on it. Oh, and he actually called the police on me...lol. so the update. I stopped by to speak with the manager and was basically told he would "talk" to him...so I replied, "talk to him after the way I was treated"?? He then replied, "well yeah, were not going to fire him or anything!, but can I get you something?" I told him no thank you, thanked him for his time and walked out. This just goes to prove the point that employees are only as good as their management team is. Customer service these days is at an all time low. There are no standards as to whom employers hire and there is no accountability for how employees treat customers. I will never spend another dime at that location and highly urge to readers to go to a diffrent location. Maybe once these companies start get hit in their pockets they will start caring how their customers are treated! Shame on the entire management team at that location! Oh...the manager actually told me to come back when that employee is not working! So you expect me to tip toe around BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and continue to spend my money....

This is one of the best McDonald's you will ever go to. Employees are friendly, food is always fresh and quick, and ambiance is very pleasant. Latha is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and she always takes care of the regulars. And believe me they have regulars... if you come before noon you will find plenty of the same old geezers to sit with if you're wanting some free entertainment. You won't last 5 minutes without hearing about how cheap gas was when they started driving. It's always fun to dive into their conversations and get a free history lesson. Is it me or does every McDonalds have a group of old men who go every day because they have nothing better to do? I can't wait to be at that age. I use the kiosks and order through the mcapp. They have a promotion on the app where if you buy any meal you get a free kids meal. So on special occasions I take my girlfriend out for a nice dinner and I'll buy myself a value meal and get her a kids meal. Talk...

Go here a decent amount since I work nearby, usually through the Drivethrough. Kaitlyn is the usually 1st window and she is quick, nice, and efficient in taking the orders and cash. The 2nd window is hit or miss. If they ask you to wait in a parking spot or go to the third window, I might actually decline. They have sent me to that window 4 times, and 3 of those times I waited up to 20 minutes watching the line behind me empty out. I had to go in to ask where my order is twice. Its a major headache especially in the morning when most people are stopping by on the way to work. So overall the place is fine unless they tell you to go to the 3rd window, then its a nightmare. At least give an estimated length of time it will take. The latest time, I was sent to the third window to wait for a cup of ORANGE JUICE, and waited 10 minutes before getting fed up and going inside (took less than 30 seconds...
