Mr Pete's Patio — Restaurant in Downey

After shop at Azalea shopping center in South Gate we at Michaels. We were very hungry including my father in law he came with us to buy decoration the house . A friend of my recommend Mr. Pete's not that far we headed to Mr. Pete's this our first time the restaurant and it's just across the street from Fatima 's Grill. This serve American classic hamburger and cheese burgers and also they serve Mexican and Mediterranean like kabobs. We look at the menu then we decided to order my wife order the chicken salad and I order the club sandwich and my father in law order a hamburgers combo. We waited for our food to be call we notice people coming in and out of the restaurant they lot's of order to go or pick up. My wife pick up the food it looks so good especially my club sandwich I took a bite great flavors like a good classic club sandwich the bacon was good wasn't crispy or burn it tender and soft that the way I like the biggest addition is avocado in this club sandwich add more flavor to the sandwich. I have to agree with MattI have to agree with Manual, I have been coming here for at least four years, their service is always great, but of course due to inflation, they skyrocketed their prices, I can pay nine dollars less at Jim’s burger for from what I receive from Pete’s burger. The price isn’t a matter of this review, they started giving out to dollar vouchers for the next order, I went today and gave the two dollar voucher, they said I needed a receipt, this was not notified to me by the last cashier, this is the second time I have been there with the voucher with a different reason I’m not accepting even though they gave me the two dollar voucher ticket. I am done with Pete’s burger, I really feel that they will truly lose customers in the present and future, they have lost me forever now, I will now go down the street to Jim’s burger where the prices are at least 40% cheaper. I do have to admit they do still have the best ranch sauce, darn if I could just buy the ranch sauce and go somewhere else I will be satisfied. But you have lost me as a customer forever because of that...

The last two times I went there, an item was missing each time. I went here yesterday morning and I checked to make sure my order was complete. Sadly it wasn't, instead of getting the French toast I paid for, I was given a burritos that I didnt order. I had to wait 10 minutes before the employee could help me. I explained to her that an item was missing and gave her the bag of food and receipt. She then tells me that's she's sure she put it in the bag and starts looking around. She asked for the receipt that I just gave her and she had placed another bag on top of it. Maybe she thought I was lying because she couldn't find the receipt. She had a below par attitude and not once did she apologize for the screw up with my order. I didn't catch her name but she wears glasses. She gave me the French Toast and rushed the bag to me. Needless to say, I will never come back here.
