Overall food is good. Aside from that I really didn't like how the app works. After ordering food the prior night I wasn't able to make it on time to pick it up. By the time I had gotten there it was way to late. So I went the next morning to see if I can still receive my food but I was told that the only way to get my food was by getting my refund through the app that it was ordered in. Afterwards once I did that step by step I still received a message from the PITAGR app stating they couldn't give me a refund because they quote on quote tried to contact me through phone but in reality I never received a phonecall. After finally making my way into the restaurant I talked with someone who seemed like the manager a tall blonde women and explained to her my situation and after she heard my explanation she sounded defensive and told me that they were trying to reach my phone number but I never received any messages or a call regarding my meal. Once she told me that the manager even told me that they had to eat my food that I had ordered so in reality they ate the food that I paid for and that is why they told me to get a refund because they didn't want to have issues with the owners if that is...

This place is a feast for the senses. The vibrant, modern Mediterranean decor creates a gorgeous and inviting environment. It’s spacious and open, with plenty of parking, making it convenient to visit. The delicious aroma hits you the moment you walk in, and while there were consistent customers eating in, it never felt crowded. Best of all, the food came out quickly despite the steady flow of patrons.
The food is absolutely top-notch. Every bite showcased their commitment to quality and flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. And don’t even get me started on the tzatziki sauce—it was fresh, creamy, and downright addictive. You can tell they take pride in every dish they serve.
Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. Whether you’re craving authentic Mediterranean flavors or just want a delightful dining experience, Pita GR delivers on all fronts. I’ll definitely...
Read morePita GR is a family-owned Greek restaurant specializing in street food. They have two locations in SoCal: Downey and Brea. My review refers to the Downey restaurant, but I suppose what's served in Brea is exactly the same.
Centrally-located near Paramount Blvd., from the outside, it appears to be a small place, but once you've ordered, you gain access to a fairly large dining room. It's modestly decorated, but it's very clean and well-kept.
The food is what you'd expect from a similar restaurant, but it's generally more authentic and fresh. And the prices are more than reasonable. If you order lamb meat, that's what you get, and not the typical lamb/beef mix typically served in other Greek fast food restaurants. If you don't like "street style," you can also get your order on a plate, with an additional salad, for a modest price increase.
The quality of the food was excellent. The pita was fresh and fluffy, the meat was savory and well-balanced (you typically get a ton of salt in other places), and the (presumably) home-made tsatziki was very creamy and not loaded with garlic. Service was prompt and corteous.
Highly...
