Let’s start with the area and location where this store is located, it’s beautiful place, the staff usually are nice and professional, from my own experience, I would give five stars, I just spent over 15 hundred dollars at home goods most of it at the one by millenia mall, and I had great experience with staff of there which is ironic, because I was not expecting good service over there, but here at dr Philips area store , I came to exchange some items that my sister got me as gift when I moved to my new home, but because of a family circumstances, I never got to use the gift, so I wanted to go and get something else, I understood if an item is bought for more than 90 days, it will be reduced in the price as they “said’’ and again, I didn’t have a problem with that, my problem is with this lady Nomana, who was rude and unprofessional, she cane to me straight and said, I have to give you only 50 percent of the the return , and I was asking why, she said it went down on price, and I asked how much?!!! She never checked over with anybody, and I told her you don’t make any sense, and she went and got the manager, who was actually professional and patiently explained everything, which was different story from what she said to me, it felt like she wanted to get rid of me and take fifty percent of my return, it’s very sad because she is” a team leader “ which I found wasn’t the right person to have that title, the young lady next to her”other cashier” was a way polite and courteous, and this is the second day that girl helped me at the cash register, I can only say that she was great, and she deserves to be a leader instead of nomana , I felt I was being scammed, especially with her accent and her tone, it raised red flags for me, so I wanted to speak to the manager. No offense, but she should’ve work somewhere in the back, I don’t think she is good material for the customer service, I work in sales and customer service domain, I know exactly how you should handle and talk to the customers, I have dealt with very difficult customers. She was nothing, but disrespectful. I never want her to cash me out again. I feel like she doesn’t have this sense where customers feel welcome in this store.    Read moreRecently i had a very bad experience here, I was looking for lanterns and cut my finger very badly on an expose sharp edge on a lantern.
I asked the staff for help, they gave me a bandage and left me to figure it out while blood is running down my hand.. no “im so sorry” or “are you okay?” They simply watched me as I fumbled to stop the bleeding and open a bandage one handed.
By no means was I expecting any type of medical assistance but at least an apology or are you OK? would’ve been nice.
A manager collected my personal information, never apologized or asked if I was okay. I then proceeded to check out and one of my items (a vase) didn’t have a price on it, the lady at counter said this doesn’t have a price tag you’ll have to find another one for me so I can scan it.. I stand there as blood is starting to leak from my bandage with a very confused look on my face.. I then explained I am will not be looking for a new vase, that is their responsibility to locate the correct price.
She then goes to the manager for help, it took them over 15 mins to figure out the correct price. Once I finally get to check out they act like I’m some type of problem and that I should be grateful the manager came up with some random price at the top of his head.

   Read moreA larger location on the main tourist pathway. It's a little tucked away from the street, but there is good signage on the roadway to let you know where to turn. The parking lot is large, so you shouldn't have any issue parking.
Inside it's clean and well organized. They have all the items you'd expect to see from this type of chain. There is a staff about but they are mostly working to organize or stock. It's easy enough to find anything you need from the well organized categories and sections throughout the store. There is signage hanging from the ceiling to help you find your way.
As usual for this chain, they have one register line that leads to all the open registers. It moves pretty quickly and they have clear physical distancing signage on the floor.
