This was our first visit to an Eggs Up Grill. Breakfast is my favorite meal and don't often eat breakfast out as I am very critical of eating breakfast out.
We started with the Strawberry Cream Donuts. I was expecting a white (vanilla) cream, but the Boston cream style. I think the white cream would have held up better to the hot donut as the white is a much stiffer cream. They were still very good, just a little messy, but a good messy.
I ordered the Caramel Apple Crisp Pancakes. They were delicious. I would have liked a little more caramel on them, but they were still very tasty. I liked that the apple topping was a mixture of whole slices as well as chunks of apple. The pancakes were large and held up well to the apples, caramel and syrup.
My wife had the Belgian Waffle with chocolate chips. She was happy with it. There was just the right amount of chocolate chips so as to not over power the Waffle's flavor.
Our son got the Texican Bowl. It smelled so good when it was brought to the table. Unfortunately, the menu didn't list that the bowl came with pickled Jalapenos. It just said jalapenos and we assumed it came with fresh jalapenos that would have been sauted with the onion and peppers. The pickled Jalapenos was a turn off for our son. The sheer amount of Jalapenos was a little concerning even for me, who loves pickled jalapenos. Before giving up, he removed çlose to half a small jar of pickled jalapenos from the bowl and there were still more. We ended up taking the bowl home. I ended up eating it at home and was very satisfied with it We did not receive the Salsa and Sour Cream as mentioned on the menu, which certainly would have elevated this dish.
We will definitely return to Eggs Up Grill when we return...

We tried the Country Fried Steak Biscuit, the Blueberry Muffin Griddled, and the Chicken and Waffles.
The biscuit was perfectly baked. Super soft yet not crumbly. The steak was delicious and the home fries were seasoned beautifully! It's hard to find a breakfast place that seasons their home fries correctly.
My chicken and waffles were delicious! The chicken had this light yet crunchy skin that didn't sit heavy alongside the waffle. The hot honey sauce on top was amazing and not overly hot. Everything paired great between the sweet striped waffle and hot honey chicken.
The griddled muffin was delicious. Not overly sweet. Worth trying!
I also tried their seasonal Oatmeal Cream Cold brew coffee. It was delicious and a little sweet as expected. I would recommend getting a shot of espresso if you wanted to try this but don't want it too sweet. (I'm fine with sweet or strong coffee - so no issue either way). We tried their dark roast coffee which had a great depth of flavor (highly recommended if you just like a great tasting brew).
The last thing we tried was their Top of the Morning alcoholic coffee made with Tullermen Dew. Very smooth, blended...
