Today was my 1st time visiting this place being a friend kept speaking highly of it, so when me and my friends arrived we were seated quickly. We got to our table and we begin to ask questions. One of my friends ordered a Margarita, once she got the drink it looked like it was a shot of a drink. So my friend asked her to remove the drink from her bill being it was 12. 00 bucks. So when it came around for me to order I asked the young lady about the snow crabs. She said that they were 26 bucks, I asked how many I would get for that amount she replied 3 to 4. So I said cool, and proceeded to order a side of corn potatoes and sausage. So when the crabs got to me, there was only 1 cluster and a half of one. So then I asked the server what happened to the 3 or 4. She said i told you 3 or 4 legs not clusters. So i said that's not what you told me and I no longer want these crabs. Her manager comes over I wasn't sure if she was a man or a woman. But she tells me she can't remove another item off the bill. So I tell her why should I pay for something when I was misled on what I was suppose to get. So of course I wasn't going to continue to go back and fourth with he/she. So I told this manager whom name was Nikki that this was my 1st visit and last visit. I can't say anything good about any of the food I ordered. The potatoes was sooo hard and had no taste what so ever, and the sausage tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. So disappointing. For anyone looking for some good SeaFood go to Best Seafood on W. Colonial or Spice N Juicy. The food is great at both places and you get your money's worth. And they dont deserve this one star I gave, I only gave that 1 star because that was the only way I could write my review. To the manager Nikki, you might want to work on your customer service skills. I've never been to a restaurant where you're not satisfied with your food and had not touched or eaten any of it and yet you still have to pay for it. Remember customer's is always...
Read moreMe and my family are in town on vacation. We wanted some authentic seafood. Not something from a chain restaurant. So we Googled and decided on this place. The waiter was pretty nice up front. He did tell us the waiting can be longer because they are cooking crab legs. Which I’m not sure why because I go to my local Kroger’s and get crab legs all the time and about 20 minutes they are ready. So my son fish came out in about 20 minutes maybe. Another 20 minutes my nephew Drool comes out. $60 snack of seafood came out. The wait keep looking our way. Notice me and my wife never got our food. He keep telling it takes longer to fix. After come to the table the last time telling us it was on the way. After waiting almost and hour and a half. We told him to cancel the order. We were not hungry anymore. And at this time he stated he has been speaking with his manager and his manager is going to check on it. Again we told him we didn’t want the food. We told him we would pay for the fish and the drool. It took another 20 mins to get the ticket right. The manager never did come to talk to us or nothing. Neither did they try to do anything for us for waiting. The waiter a young black guy with glasses. I asked to take something off the ticket for waiting. He tried to tell in the nicest voice he could without getting an attitude with us like it was our fault. He told us” well we out charge you all for the food that hit the table” but as a Customer Service manager. I would have did something to make me want to come back! I’m not coming back! We had almost $200 worth of food. The bad customer service I received at this place. Next time I come to Orlando and that is at least twice a year. I will not visit this place nor tell anyone to come to this place!! I should have found a...
Read moreYesterday‘s lunch at Hot And Juicy was absolutely amazing, tasty and delicious. I have been coming to this seafood restaurant for years because the seasonings and the butter is super addicting. They also do a very good job with keeping the restaurant clean. One of the reasons their seafood is different is because nothing is ever froze and it is all fresh and the crawfish and blue crab are literally alive until the moment they are about to cook them and bring it hot in your plate. On the rare occasions they do not have fresh crawfish the server will inform you immediately because crawfish is something that they always keep in stock in the restaurant. Now, this may not be the place for you if you do not like to peel and eat because that is their concept. But if you don’t mind throwing on a pair of gloves in on to dive into all the different delicious sauces then the place you want to be is here. They have lobster, crab, shrimp, muscles, calamari, clams, oysters and crawfish. Actually, I also love their fried chicken wings which is surprising for a seafood restaurant to have chicken wings that are so darn good. We will be back within two weeks to eat again! Oh, my son likes his seafood served in butter only with fresh garlic because he doesn’t like any heat. I like my seafood flavor served in the Hot And Juicy special, baby spice level. Remember that they follow a Thai heat scale so hot is literally boiling hot in your mouth.... and I can’t handle that. Ask for Dallas when you go and tell them Michelle sent you. Good still...
