My husband booked an appt here for me as an early Mother’s Day gift. I had never been here before he said he booked solely based on reviews.

I unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience with “Van”. I was cut multiple times while getting a pedicure, two cuts on one big toe and another cut on my other big toe. Every time I was cut I was bleeding and Van would try to clean the blood with her brush which I told her not to do (unsanitary) she then started using the towel to clean any blood. There was nothing relaxing about it - she was very rough. I asked for a simple gel French tip, also showed a photo of what I wanted which Van was also unable to do correctly. She seemed bothered whenever I asked her to correct something I didn’t like - example I asked for a thin French tip and she left a thick French tip on my toes and said she would fix it and kept filing my toe nails down to make it “thinner” then blamed it on my nails saying it’s because some of my nails were too short. The French tip on some toes was left very uneven. I also asked for a different shade of pink, she told me they only had two colors for that and proceeded to use a nude color and said it would get darker.

I met the owner Abby who took over my manicure. I expressed my experience with Van - I told her she cut me multiple times, I didn’t like the shade she picked (hence Van had started my manicure and was doing the same thing), that she left the French tip very thick and also showed her my toes prior to paying along with the photo I showed Van in the beginning. Abby was nice and did a great job on my gel manicure French tip, however her response to my pedicure experience was just to ask for...

Well Honey Let Me tell you Mary is very Amazing does quality work the shop is beautiful clean and everybody is so friendly and welcoming. I have seen a review on here saying bad things about Mary but I can assure you I’ve been coming to Mary for many years and she does amazing work and she’s not an amateur .her work speaks for itself now I don’t know what transpired with the previous customer that came in here and wrote nasty reviews that are untrue. If you are dissatisfied with Mary’s work she will always try to fix it . That customer was probably trying to get something for free it is a shame that we as people sometime can be rude to others Mary has never been rude she is very good and she treats all her customers with respect and if it’s not right she will always fix it. So I’m telling all customers or anybody that would love to try Mary give her a try she is amazing and she is a godly woman weather it is her own culture she is amazing. Update: I went yesterday to get my nails done. I had found out new ownership had taken over & I was met with Abby. I took in a photo & she took time & care and ensured she created trust w me in the entire process. She literally knocked it out of the park. I am definitely going to go back to her. Daisy did my pedicure & she also did a phenomenal job. Daisy has been at the salon since I had been going & it was a delight to see a familiar smile!

All in all, I took a chance with a new nail tech & I was nothing short of happy leaving!!!! Will continue to go to Abby & Daisy

Review from February 2024: First time going in. It’s only around the corner from my house. Lily & Alex are both amazing & take great care of you. Lily did exactly what I wanted on my nails & she had me laughing the entire time. Alex did my pedicure & he took his time & the massage felt great!
