I truly attempted to give this location the benefit of the doubt by returning for a second visit. Unfortunately, the experience only confirmed a pattern of poor operations and questionable customer service.
First, it’s unclear why there are two drive-thru lanes when there is never more than one person taking orders. Guests are left waiting unnecessarily until the employee finishes taking another order—completely defeating the purpose of a dual-lane setup. This alone causes confusion and delays right from the start.
Additionally, there is still a visible menu board advertising a $5 meal, yet the same meal now rings up as $6. That kind of pricing inaccuracy is misleading and unacceptable. On top of that, this is the second time I’ve been told to request my sauce at the second window—a policy that, frankly, makes no sense. If sauces are part of the order, why can’t they be added when the order is placed? To add to the confusion, I was also told there was no ranch available. I accepted that without issue—but it seems incredibly disorganized to not have a consistent process for something as basic as condiments.
I attempted to upgrade my fries to a large (which I was told couldn’t be done), yet moments later, I received a medium drink instead of the small size that was supposed to come with my meal—and without ever being asked or notified of an upcharge. How is it that one upcharge is impossible, yet another is imposed without consent?
The employee taking my order didn’t even input it into the screen, which forced me to ask for a repeat—and even then, it was incomplete. It became evident he had already moved on to take the next guest’s order in the other lane, despite not confirming mine was finished. At that point, I had to ask him directly if he had even heard the rest of my order.
When I got to the second window and politely asked why I had to request sauce there instead of during the ordering process, the staff member seemed confused and said, “I don’t know, they should be able to.” A simple question turned into an even more frustrating interaction when a manager—who overheard the exchange—abruptly interjected with, “Don’t worry about that.” This level of dismissiveness toward a reasonable and repeated customer concern is disappointing, to say the least.
As someone who has worked in fast food myself, I understand that mistakes happen. But this wasn’t just one error, it was a series of careless actions and complete disregard for the customer experience. And for a location so close to Disney, which caters to travelers from around the world, that level of service is especially concerning.
This will be my last visit to this location, no matter how conveniently located it is. I hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call to reevaluate your team’s training, because what I experienced falls far below even the most basic standard of...
Read moreWe've all been to many McDonalds. However if you want to see how not to run a franchise restaurant this is the place to visit. I have never seen a business so disorganized. First, there is no one at the counter helping anyone. With the amount of business I witnessed at this restaurant a person needs to STAY AT THE COUNTER. Why? 1. Orders are not being filled correctly. One lady received a wrong food item however nobody would come to the counter to help her. 2. The employees are not putting condiments and napkins in the bags being picked up. There are no condiments anywhere which means customers are constantly going to the counter to ask for napkins, catsup, etc. So many bags were missing these items I tend to think this is deliberate attempt to save money. 3. Speaking of "saving money" there is no soda bar. Are you kidding me? I understand you can ask for a beverage refill at the counter but again, good luck grabbing someone. This unit had what seemed to be almost too many employees working in the back however nobody seemed to have a designated job. They seem to be running in circles. Another additional huge problem is no one was cleaning the tables. I am not going to spend my hard earned money and sit at a dirty table. With the business I witnessed there should be someone stationed in the dining room just as there should be someone stationed at the counter. Speaking of the dining room I witnessed TWO people sleeping at the tables taking up four tops, (see attached photos). Customers coming in could not find a table. The Manager needs to get their butt out in the dining room and tell these people who are sleeping they are finished with their meal and need to move. Another two gentleman were using the free internet taking up another table who also should have been moved along. The biggest mistake I made was to order two cookies after our meal. The only way this could happen is by ordering on the mobile app. I waited and waited and waited. I saw my "number" on the TV monitor which meant nothing as it never moved. After 25 minutes or so my wife finally stopped a person who was running in circles and asked for the cookies. The owner needs to sit down with their Manager and help them work out a plan. The prices at this unit are among the highest I have ever witnessed. The business is brisk. The owner needs to have some respect for his or her...
Read moreNOT COVID SAFE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give less than a star or negative I would. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! don’t waste your time. We pulled in at 10pm after spending all day at Disney with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. They say closed at 11. When we pulled in there was already 8 cars. We did not leave until 1055pm!!!!! We were told multiple times to take our time looking at the menu when we were ready to order. Sat at the ordering speaker for 30 mins while the staff member Tiffany told us multiple times that they were understaffed and to keep taking our time. Meanwhile we have screaming kids who just needed a happy meal. Come to find out it really seems as they are just purely lazy and want to leave. They turned all the lights off at 1045 (we were still in the drive thru) and then we pull up and they are just cleaning and doing closing duties while purposely not helping people. Tiffany comes up to take our payment with broom and dustpan in hand. So they are all cleaning a the dirt and cleaning supplies and then touching and returning forms of payment to you and touching your food. Literally the worst fast food experience I have ever had and by far the worst McDonald’s. Food was old and cold (obviously they are trying to get rid of all the old food and don’t want to cook anything new or fresh). Waste of time money and honestly waste of space and people. Hire better staff and management or shut the place down and replace it with a whole new business. It’s really sad to see people who don’t care and still get paid to be less than subpar at their job. There are plenty of people out there that would do a way better job. I feel like they could train the animals at animal kingdom to do a better job. Bottom line this place is the worst. We will be contacting corporate. And DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! WASTE OF TIME MONEY SPACE PEOPLE...
