I got to sample wines made from Armenian grapes, which is The Open Container’s principal focus.

The sweetness ranged from bone-dry to super sweet, a variety which I appreciated.

The setting isn’t my favorite (a kiosk in a premium outlet mall), but it may be a more cost-effective way of showcasing their wines given there’s no need to invest in an actual brick-and-mortar vineyard (their wines are imported from Armenia, where the grapes are cultivated and the wines are fermented). Can’t fault them for this.

Shopping and sipping...what a fantastic combination!! Not only were the frozen wine slushies absolutely delicious, but Haik and his team did an impeccable job of creating an experience. How many bars or restaurants have you been to where the owner serves you and educates you on wine culture? The margarita slushie was my favorite frozen drink . The Open Container sweet white is definitely my wine favorite....
