this hilton hampton inn on palm parkway in lake buena vista, florida is a great budget-friendly hotel super close to walt disney world, universal orlando, and seaworld 🎢 your stay includes FREE shuttle to the theme parks, FREE breakfast (with mickey waffles!), and FREE fast wifi 🛜 it’s only about a 10-15 minute drive if you have your own car, and resort parking is super affordable! 🚙 i’ve had a great experience every time i’ve stayed here, so be sure check it out (via the green location link) if you’re planning a trip any time soon!! #tiktokgostay #orlandoflorida #budgettravel #disneyworldtips #hotelreview @hilton

Erika at the front desk is one of the kindest, friendliest, most helpful people I’ve ever met! Rooms are clean and housekeeping did an impeccable job. Coffee/tea available downstairs 24/7 (and machine in room). Breakfast was 7-10am when we were there (Mickey waffles, bagels, juice, meat, scrambled eggs) and staff were quickly cleaning and bringing out new items as they disappeared. Ice machines by the elevators. There is laundry downstairs ($3 per wash and $3 per dry, front desk has quarters you can get if you bring them cash). There is also a little shop with essentials (laundry pods, some medications like pepto bismol, ice cream, sunscreen, a few frozen meals and ice cream, soda, beer). $10-$20 Uber ride (10-20 minutes) depending on traffic to all the Disney parks. Pro tip, there is a Starbucks open in the mornings at the Embassy Suites (5 min walk) if you need your fix. Also, you can easily get Instacart delivered there, there is a Publix 10 minutes away (by the outlets). Outlets and Disney Springs are a <10 minute drive away. Update: I visited again in late November and had the BEST experience. Veronica at the front desk was working the day before and of Thanksgiving and was absolutely fabulous!! Our flight landed very early and she was able to get us situated so we could leave our bags secured and go straight to the parks. As usual, the rooms were clean, staff was wonderful, breakfast was good (staff were CONSTANTLY coming around and cleaning/restocking) and location is perfect (we used Uber and it was usually $12-20 to any park). They also have a little medicine cabinet downstairs and you can purchase common stuff, like Tylenol and Tums (huge life saver when my mom, who can’t take NSAIDs, got muscle pain late at night from walking around all day). If you join Hilton Honors and download the app you can rack up points and use them down the line to help pay part of your bill. I have a feeling I will be back here again and again! Update: Came back for a third time! Erika and Veronica were fabulous as usual!! They are so hardworking, kind, efficient and wonderful! This is my favorite hotel across the whole world! As usual, hotel was clean, breakfast was great and the Uber fare to the parks is still $12-20, to the airport was $30-35. Attaching some pics of my room (ignore the mess I made haha).

OK when my daughter booked this hotel I was a little concerned. I didn’t think I was gonna like staying at the Hampton Inn but I 100% changed my mind. this hotel is probably my new favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at! what I like about this hotel is it’s not snooty. It’s not presumptuous they have the best music, the best staff, the best Christmas decorations with nutcrackers for days!! The rooms are beyond comfortable, Relaxing and clean! Plus, I felt extremely safe the whole time I stayed here!! The people staying here that you will meet are so sweet and nice here, but the nicest thing was the front desk, lady Veronica. She is very very nice when we first got here she was the type of person that went above and beyond she has the sweetest kindest disposition. I loved listening to her about where she came from which is Australia and South Africa. What a lovely lady. I also met Miss Sashane from Jamaica she had s also just a doll!! We had the best laugh at her desk with some other guests. She gave me so many great tips for our upcoming cruise! This may not be a fancy five star hotel it much better!! This is a 10 star hotel in my eyes!! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a hotel where every single thing is perfect!!I From the other guests you meet, the staff, And I mean, all the staff housekeeping, the guy who drives the shuttle the breakfast crew, The Disney ticket guy, to the front desk girls absolutely amazing! Breakfast was great, The hot tub was fantastic at night and it’s so close to the parks, but the best part was visiting and talking with Miss Veronica. What a sweet lady! I have to say when my daughter book this was first not happy because I thought we should stay at a Disney hotel but this has been better than a Disney hotel first of all the price Super affordable, but it was like a five minute drive to the park plus they have a shuttle if we didn’t want to They have a very knowledgeable staff that gave us a ton of tips on how to get into the park early and where to park and what to do.. When you check in, everybody’s just so so nice, which is rare in these days. This is five star accommodation five star service at this hotel. We will be coming back.

This hotel was perfect for our Orlando trip to Disney World and Universal! Veronica at the front desk was so helpful and friendly - she was always available and eager to answer all of our questions.

Pros:

  1. Cost - for the location and services included, as well as the amazing customer service, this place is the best deal in the area.

  2. Free breakfast from 7-10am every day - they had a variety of coffees, milks, juices, pastries, fruit, protein (some days eggs, some days sausage, some days both), mickey-shaped waffle makers with malted vanilla or birthday cake batter, bagels, muffins, etc. It’s nice to get a solid breakfast before you head out for a long day on your feet at the parks.

  3. Free shuttle to Disney World, Sea World, and Universal - there is only one bus to each location each morning, and one bus returning from each location each night, but they have the schedule on their website and also posted right at the front desk counter, so you can snap a pic on your phone and take advantage of a free ride when it works for your schedule. The bus to universal got us there right as the parks opened for the day and picked us up right after they closed. They also have a bus that takes you home from Disney Springs if you end up there for dinner or shopping at night. We saved at least $100 on lyft rides in 3 days just from this shuttle. Just make sure you know the times and locations.

  4. Location - it’s close to Disney World and Disney Springs so the Lyft rides that you do take are usually in the $10-20 range.

  5. The room itself - the room and hotel all seemed very clean and fairly new. The beds were really comfortable and I slept amazingly well every night. They gave us 2 bottles of water and some snacks when we checked in. They cleaned our room and brought new towels every day. The shower/bath had really good smelling shampoo/conditioner/body wash pump bottles attached to the wall of the shower. We felt very comfortable and never heard any noise from other guests.

  6. Customer Service - again, Veronica was amazing. We arrived at around 10 am, and even though check-in wasn’t until 3pm, she quickly checked and was able to get us into a room 5 hours early, so we could settle in and drop our bags and head out to Epcot as quickly as possible. On our last day, another front desk agent quickly checked us out and tagged and stored our bags at the front desk so we could have one last day in the parks and then come back to pick up our bags that night on our way out. Also, I’d had an issue where I accidentally booked a stay at another Hampton Inn in Orlando for the same nights and didn’t cancel (because I didn’t realize that they were two separate hotels because they both were called “Hampton Inn Orlando…” and the Hilton booking website/app does nothing to highlight the fact that you have two bookings with them for the same nights) - Veronica and her manager were really helpful in talking me through it and helping me to cancel the other reservation without any financial penalty (the other Hampton Inn said they were still going to charge me a one night penalty when I called). They gave me the right numbers to call to get to the right people to ensure that the charges for the other hotel were removed since I was still staying in a Hampton Inn for those nights.

Cons: Nothing really. It’s not a luxury hotel or resort. They exceeded my expectations for what was advertised.

Tip: In addition to this hotel’s shuttle, the disney parks all have free shuttles (or monorail, between epcot and magic kingdom) from one park to another, and to all of the disney resorts, but only the resorts have shuttles that go to disney springs. So, when you leave the parks, take a free shuttle to any resort, then take a free disney springs shuttle from there. Some resort bus stops (“Port Orleans - French Quarter” and “Old Key West - Hospitality House”) also have ferries that go to Disney Springs every 20 mins if you want a free boat ride. From there, the free shuttle at 11:15pm or a cheap lyft will get you back...

This is our second perfect stay at Hampton Inn LBV in Aug 2024 .

We decided to return to Hampton Inn Orlando LBV after 9 years and it remains perfect as previously described back in Aug 2015. All the staff are welcoming and happy to help you, the hotel is clean with an amazing breakfast prepared and served by Luca, Yeldi & Monica along with their colleagues. Our room is on the top floor this visit (5**) and has been kept in an immaculate condition everyday by Claudia, thank you so much. Perfect location which is close to everything.

—— 2015 Review below—— We stayed at the Hampton Inn Orlando LBV between 9-21 August 2015. Overall, we must provide top marks to this hotel as nothing was too much trouble.

The service throughout the whole hotel was absolutely excellent, the front desk staff were always welcoming and extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble for them. We had to ask them to look out and sign for a parcel for our daughter (replacement diabetic blood testing meter) and every staff member was aware of the importance of the parcel that we were waiting the arrival of and provided us with an update on each occasion that we returned to the hotel. Thank you for that. A complimentary “help yourself” breakfast service is provided every morning between 6-10 and this was absolutely excellent, a large choice ranging from cereal / toast / bagels / porridge / fruit / yoghurt or a choice of hot breakfast items ranging from scrambled egg and sausage / bacon and breakfast potato’s or omelette – there were also three Mickey mouse waffle makers which our girls really enjoyed making their own waffle, as did most other children there... Hot and cold drinks were also included. The kitchen staff, where constantly back and forth replenishing the food supplies to ensure there was enough for everyone, not once did I see anything even start to run low – the kitchen staff were 100% and provided an excellent tasty breakfast service. Thank You. The dining area runs itself nicely, you are completely free to turn up for breakfast at anytime that suits you between the hours of operation, we staggered our times being 0700 and 0800 and there was always a table for the four of us with no waiting. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. Our room was 408, a reasonably sized twin double on the fourth of five floors and it was cleaned every day to a very high standard. The mattress was a little too soft for us personally but this was of no fault of the hotel as it was just the design / type of mattress in use. The hotel was cleaned and very comfortable throughout to a very high standard including the pool area, of which the hotel supplied pool towels so you didn’t need to use your room towels / supply your own additional towels. The secure laundry room (you need your room key card to access) has two washing machines and two tumble dryer machines, each costing $2.00 per usage. I would suggest that there is room for additional machines, but maybe demand is not high enough. The longest we waited for a machine was 45 mins. There are two internet enabled computers in the lobby area with printer attached which are free to use, although we only used them once, they were handy for printing off our boarding passes. There is a good strong complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel of which we all used with no problems at all. The hotel is ideally situated with many restaurants close by; and a short drive to the main Disney parks - we will definitely book and use this hotel again. Thanks for an excellent...

We just got back from a 3 night stay at the Hampton Inn Orlando/Lake Buena Vista. To be honest, we picked this hotel because we wanted to pay with our Hilton Points and we didn't want to pay for daily parking (which many hotels require). We also loved the locations because it was near many restaurants that we wanted to try. Also, for those who might be interested in the amusement parks, this Hampton Inn was centrally located between Universal and Disney in case you wanted to do both.

Cons: Not a whole lot. However, if I had to be picky, I would say that sometimes, the smart TV could be a little glitchy. However, it wasn't a huge issue.

Now for a huge list of pros:

  1. Plenty of FREE parking (like I mentioned many hotels charge a parking fee). Hampton Inn Orlando/Lake Buena Vista does not!
  2. Free breakfast. While it's not not made to order omelets and things like that, it is a hot breakfast (i.e. sausage, eggs, french toast sticks, mickey pancakes, fruits, boiled egg, cereal and muffins) and it is FREE. 3)While I mentioned that the Smart TV can occassionally be glitchy, it generally worked fine and it was still nice that they had it (I still see many hotels, including higher end ones, without this feature).
  3. Plenty of charging outlets for many electronics.
  4. We loved the location of our room. We had a first floor room kind of near the pool. Initially, I was a little worried that this room would be too noisy, but it ended up not being noisy at all (despite being near the elevator and pool). We also loved how it was so easy to get to our car from our room.
  5. Housekeeping was wonderful! We've stayed at a lot of different hotels this year due to college visits and competitions. So in all, we probably stayed at 15 different hotels this year. We have never had such pro-active housekeeping service as we did at the Hampton Inn Orlando/Lake Buena Vista. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and eager to help with anything. They did a great job tidying up our room. They also found our computer bag that we left behind and helped get it back to us with the help of Nicole from the front desk (more on Nicole later).
  6. Finally, the front staff was so friendly and wonderful. After checking in, they would call to see if everything was fine - a very nice touch that makes you feel special/cared for. However, I have to give a very special shout out to Nicole! Initially, we were planning on staying for 4 nights, but due to some personal emergencies, we needed to leave a day early. For my initial 4 night reservation, I booked with my Hilton points. When I knew that we had to leave a day early, I just assumed that I would lose my points for the 4th night. However, Nicole suggested that I call Hilton to see if they could credit me for the 4th night that I did not use since my account would show that I checked out after only 3 nights. When I called Hilton, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Hilton already credited me for the 4th night that I did not stay due to the efforts of Nicole! I was blown away by her going above and beyond to help me! Thank you so...
