I went here primarily on the strength of the 4.5 Google ratings. The pizza was at best average New York crust. Thin with a propensity to become soggy quickly. I asked for the wings "dry and well done" and if anything they were extra "wet" with extra sauce on the top and were very average in size certainly not the "jumbo" described on the menu. The Calzone was very large, but the inside was about 80% dry Ricotta cheese, while I generally like this cheese in a Calzone to have it constitute virtually all of the cheese doesn't make for a tasty dish. We did not try the pasta or garlic knots so I have no opinion on these. I liked the interior covered in scenes of New York city and found the service to be good. My wife tried the gluten free pizza and didn't care for the crust (then again most gluten free has taste issues save for a small place in Mount Dora we tried several years ago). Honestly, the deli pizza at the Whole Foods store is radically better than here although since we only ate there once it is possible that our results do not reflect their standard quality levels. Normally, I like to eat at a place at least three times before writing a review, but in this case my son and wife put this place on the Jacobs instant "banned list" so I know I won't have the opportunity for further...
Read moreWas staying at Laquita Inn in Orlando to prepare for the hurricane. Ordered food from Papa D Pizza at 5:00pm. At 7:30 pm the food arrived; well minus one whole pizza and an order of chicken tenders and fries. I called and was told they would deliver the forgotten food. Started calling an hour later to see where it was but phone was busy. At 9:44 I reached someone that told me the food was there and the driver would call me when they returned. I waited again until 10:55 then I started calling again. From 10:55 throu 11:28 I called 14 times. 11 of those times they picked up and hung the phone directly up on me. Three of the times I was just put on hold and left there. It's 11:43pm, 6hrs 15min after I ordered. Now they're closed I still did not receive the rest of my food nor a resolution. Never again will I order from here. I have many people that travel here from Miami constantly and I will see to it that they never again...
