Today is the day before the hurricane is supposed to be hitting Florida. As most stores are closing for understandable safety reasons Walgreens was still open. Trying to plan and prepare THE BEST I COULD as I still had to work and arrived from out of town, I tried calling Walgreens multiple times to find out store hours, but could not get a hold of anyone. So I arrived at Walgreens at 11:50 AM after work and a very rude employee was outside telling me I could not enter because they closed at 12. I understood why they were closing. I told him I just needed to grab ONE quick item of over-the-counter medication. With a very aggressive attitude he said no you cannot enter the store because we close at 12. He kept continuing to be rude. I said it’s 1150 and I need to grab one thing and he continued to not let me into the store. That being said, again I understand completely why the store was closing, however there is a way NICER way to treat a people. Especially in moments of panic a day before disaster. If you’re gonna close at 12, then close the doors at 12 not before.
I will NEVER be returning to another Walgreens as I’ve kept my mouth shut about multiple experiences that have happened. This was the...
Read moreI am from the UK and on Wednesday 17th October 2018 I visited Walgreens on 12650 International Dr S, Orlando, FL 32821, USA.
Along with my purchases I was asked to provide ID as I had a bottle of wine. I handed over my UK drivers license and the teller typed details of it into the computer and I went on my way.
On Thursday 18th October 2018 I visited the same Walgreens store and along with my purchases I had 1 can of budweiser. I was asked to provide ID and as per the previous day I handed over my UK drivers license.
I was advised by the teller (Stephanie) that she could only accept US forms of ID only and that there had been a change in the Walgreens policy. I asked her when there was a change in policy and she said today (18th October) I asked her where the sign was advising customers of a change in policy and she was unable to show me.
I explained to her that I had been In the previous day and purchased wine with my driving license and Stephanie said the teller from the day before did not know the correct policy.
I find it hard to believe that a Walgreens surrounded by hotels only accepts US...
Read moreLet me start off by saying I do not live around here, as of a few months ago in 2021 Florida’s Governor lifted the mask mandate so when I Visit Florida I expect to not have to wear one, if places are still requiring it that’s perfectly fine by me but here is what happened to me! I walk in this location WITHOUT a mask the front cashier lady politely and kindly greeted me and never told me it was required. Then as I was shopping another employee approached me and asked me if I had a mask and I said yes and his reply was “Put It On!” This made me want to immediately leave and go back to my home state. There was no need to be rude to me, I will say yes they had a sign posted but it was worded as they are required per the state regulations, well the state regulations say that “masks are still recommended but not required.” Which I had done research on before even coming on this trip, it just probably needs to be more clear; especially being a place a lot of people from out of state travel to that’s...
