Giving 4 stars based on Dublin scale… If I am using Atlanta scale…it’s a 2.5 stars If using Asian standard, might be a 1… Anyway to be fair… you are in Dublin GA, this might be the best Japanese food you can get around here Start with appetizers… Takoyaki is premade somewhere and they deep fried it… not the traditional way and barely have any octopus in it… but at least they have it on the menu Most of the deep fried items or tempuras are fine, they came out hot and crispy. All sauce are sweeter than what it supposed to. As for sushi, it’s fair. Not too many options but enough to make rolls Salmon and yellow tail sashimi would be my recommendation. Ramen is probably from frozen pack… Hibachi side…we didn’t order much on the grill so they didn’t cook in front of us… but I did saw him cooking for other table which is not bad~ but I think I can do better.

Edit: I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I originally paid and went to my vehicle, but after deliberating, I decided to let management know I did not enjoy my $50 meal. The manager refunded me for one of the rolls. After all I ate them (after picking the cheese off). This was a step in the direction of satisfying the customer. My sushi rolls had WAY TOO MUCH cream cheese. I'm talking an overpowering amount of cream cheese. The rolls were not enjoyable due to the amount of cream cheese. Please tell you're sushi guy to go easy with the cream cheese. Also, while the amount of fish was satisfactory, please consider making the rolls slightly smaller and not the size of a hockey puck so I can fit them in my mouth. Dude's over here making sushi burritos.

We used to love this place! Lately, the service has been a little off but the food is still good on the hibachi side. We’re really missing the ā€œold soupā€ before it became clear… Today We ordered the teriyaki chicken hibachi with fried rice for lunch, but got it as takeout. It was $26 for one plate. No soup or salad. The chicken was chewy and bland, and the rice tastes like it’s a day old. No seasoning no egg no veggies just rice that’s slightly beige in color. Huge waste of money and HUGE disappointment. I’m not giving up on them yet, but it’s gotta be better! 😭

The quality of the food is good but I have had one issue here...and it's a big one. Like any Japanese steak house the value is in the service (show) not in the food. You can expect spinning utensils, shooting fireballs, and acrobatic food items. This place is no different. I took the family here one weekend because the kids had never been to this style of restaurant. We (5 of us) were seated at a table with six or so others. The first three or four ordered the steak and when it finally came our turn the wife and I ordered the filet (a more expensive steak)... My wife was watching the preparation of the food like a hawk. I was watching the fireballs... The chef did his usual show and cooked the food... The wife alerted me to what the chef was doing....he had mounded up ALL of the now cut-up steak into ONE pile (the cheaper steak and the more expensive filet) and was distributing it evenly... We asked for and got the manager and my wife explained the problem and that furthermore she only saw one filet brought out (she wasn't absolutely sure about that)... The manager talks to the chef in Japanese and then tells us that he says we are mistaken.....not smart. The wife grabs the purse and tells them we'll be going now. I calm her down a bit and the manager speaks with the chef again who hangs his head and admits that he noticed the mistake (only 1 filet) about half way through cooking ... they went and got two more filets and cooked mine and my wife's. I don't know if it's standard MO for them to mix the steak like that. We never got an apology for that. I'm not gonna pay 4 or 5 dollars more for filet and then watch it be handed out to others...

We haven't been back. If you go watch the food,...

This place does not even deserve the one star it took to leave this review. I have really sick and not eating. I had someone pick me a plate. Even though they had eaten there several times he wasn't sure he had correct. He called and told to cancel order I do not eat the vegetables. He got put and went inside and canceled the orderand reorder a steak and double rice plate with 2 extra yum yum sauces. When he got to the house I dipped my steak into a bowl. I begin eating the steak. There were a few pieces with different texture. I started picking large mushrooms and new I had already eaten some. It made me so sick that I vomited. I am not allergic but they make me sick. They had tacked a side fried to the bill. I put all the mushrooms found in the steak and and put in a bag. I sent the side rice and rice from plate and all the mushrooms. They would give me a refund but would remake. I never want to eat here again. It was there fault not mine. I am going to get on social media and let every one know because it wasn't my fault they...

We went here to celebrate my daughters 30th bday. Dublin is a half way point for us to meet. We only had about a 10min wait. Staff was very friendly and nice. Sushi was good. Nice selection. The Hibachi was alot of fun and we had good conversation. Unfortunately the drinks were terrible. Apparently the usual bartender was not there. That was a little disappointing as we were looking forward to having a nice cocktail with our meal. 4 stars I think was fair taking into account the drinks.

Update: We went again recently. Front host had an attitude. Not sure why. We ordered a lot of things as we have been before and drive a distance. The server was very nice and polite. The King crab roll for the price was flavorless and had a little bit of tasteless King crab. On the top was fake crab which was disappointing for such an expensive roll. Calami had no flavor and rubber. This has been our spot for a long time. Don't know if we will...
