Great place to get all your Diy project ideas and materials and of course a few extra things that you didn't need but looked really cool. They may call Home Depot a grown man's Wal-Mart but I see it as a grown woman's playground. There's just so many possibilities. Only complaint I have is that I shouldn't have to show an employee who works in that particular area, a picture of the item I need after I told them the name of what I was looking for, description and what it was used for. Come on I could hear crickets in the background and the bewilderment grew on their face. More training for your employees. Metaphorically speaking you can't hire a baker and expect them to know what a marble threshold is or even shumold. Hire people who have an IQ over 10 please. If someone comes in looking for a job and you say they are over qualified, hey guess what tell to their family when they have no food. They wouldn't of filled out that application if they didn't mean it. Don't degrade them even more. Instead you hire idiots. What gives Home Depot quit being stupid or should I say quit hiring people who are Unknowlegeable of their job. Other than that you guys...
Read moreThe associates I have interacted with at this store have generally been helpful and courteous.
When I have needed an associate to assist with something specfic, I typically find the closest associate and ask them to call for someone to help me. They have always been helpful and made the call. The response rate seems to run between 60-70%, however. I have had occasions where I've ask someone to call a couple of times before I got assistance and 1 case where I just left the store.
Today, I see that all of the electrical wire is locked in cages. Unfortunately, probably necessary to combat theft but a real pain for a customer planning on a quick in and out trip. It's probably not actually true but it feels like the more product that is locked in cages, the less available associates are to unlock it.
This store has had inventory issues for at least the past 5 years. It is to the point now that if the website says they have 2 or less, I don't bother to go to the store. If they have it, associates can't find it. I typically have better luck finding things on my own. I've become much more familiar with their top stock than a customer...
Read moreI like Homedepot, but im not the only one who thinks this..... the Mgr could do better on employee interaction with customers there no reason to have employees standing around talking (gossip on who's going where when they get off, or who going on a date to the racetrack or on there personal cells using apps like Facebook or Snapchat...) When were are there to buy items & need help with something only 1 older guy been working for few years there in paint dept asked us for help wish i could say remember his name he stopped before had to clocked out late for his lunch that day & it was raining outside took the time to help us, even helped us load the paint in our car. If you were in warner robins homedepot you get the help, That's kinda funny cause this store Mgr now was the Former warner robins store mgr of the Homedepot there and she use to run it like you were in military "she say when I say what, u say Homedepot" but not here is no way she's to soft now here at this store, you need to go back retrain these employees better manners & why they work...
