Sunday night dinner is crazy, I get that. Its busy, and cars are wrapped around the building. However, replacing the speaker with a beleaguered employee and a tablet does not actually improve efficiency, not apparently accuracy. The reason this technique works for Chick Fil A is they double available staff. You still only have one person taking orders, and one line.
I ordered my 20 piece chicken with half Zax sauce and half ranch. The receipt read "No zax sauce Ranch sauce" twice.
Predictably, I received no zax sauce, so I had to go in and wait in line at the one open register there to buy two extra.
So, protip: to improve efficiency, you need to increase the amount of staff doing the job... not just move them outside.
To the girl stuck outside and exposing herself to customers in a pandemic, you were very sweet.
I hope next time will be better. And I won't be using the drive thru, since I'm apparently going to stand in line...
Read moreChicken tastes ok, not great, very average and very over priced. Taste wise you can do better, or at least as well, at several places for a good bit less money, including the gas station/convenience store. Chicken strips, or "fingers" as Zaxby's calls them, are cut in half (maybe even quartered) down to more like knuckles than fingers. Each "finger" weighs less than an ounce so, do the math. So, 5 are about a quarter of a pound. Price has jumped to $8.50 for 5 on regular plate; they even charge for an extra sauce. Chicken is reguarly available at about $2/lb. Therefore, we are paying about $8/lb for it, a piece of toast, and a few frozen fries at Zaxby's. Very chintzey, customer unfriendly, business practices. Their slogan is, "we do chicken right." Well maybe, but if so, it's the only thing they do right. Avoid Zaxby's, you can do much better at other places. I...
Read moreUsually this location is quite nice and run very well. Unfortunately upon my most recent visit I was less than impressed to say the least. Upon entering the building I was blasted with a wave of hot air .I'm not sure if the AC units was off or broken but it was incredibly hot inside I'd estimate 78 degrees f or so. To further add to my dismay my order was wrong. I ordered a wings n things with hot honey mustard on the wings . when I received my order the wings and chicken fingers were smothered in hot honey mustard. During my entire dinning experience my ears were assaulted by country music the style frequently found playing in a truck stop bathroom or your local huddle house. To cap off this less than desirable experience the I ice machine had no ice in it. It will be awhile before I dine in again at...
