Where do I start? Hmm let's start with the outside appearance of the place. There's trash in the parking lot usually from employees cleaning out their cars. The entrance is always greasey looking from kitchen floor. The outside of the windows are gross let alone the inside of the windows. The bathrooms are disgusting 🤢. There's usually always something on the floor because they only spot sweep instead of fully sweeping the lobby. The kitchen from what I can see from the counter is an accident waiting to happen. A person could easily get hurt in there because that floor in there is so greasey. I see they don't use 1 knife anymore for everything. The cross contamination in that place is horrendous. I have personally had diarrhea several times from eating undercooked hamburger. The tomatoes looked like the were rotten so I took them off my sandwich. I pretty much just had lettuce, onion and mayonnaise. The general manager here is a complete joke. He shouldn't even be in the supervisor of a daycare. He has no leadership skills at all. Instead of leading them and teaching his employees he belittles, curses and makes fun of his employees not in private but right in front of staff and customers. Seriously I have been in there eating my meal with my kids and he was yelling at a worker throwing his hat like he's a child. I've never seen such an unprofessional and discombobulated, chaotic circus. Most of the time I would go there and order either inside or drive thru and I'm told they are out of one thing or another. The people on the drive thru are very rude especially the woman on night shift. They mess up orders left and right. Im surprised there is still a door on there because of the customers coming in from drive thru because #1wasnt what they ordered #2 wasn't made the way they asked it to be made #3 is was cold #4 it was somebody else's order. They need equal amount of staff on each shift. Oh and don't get me started on how long a person has to wait for a whopper, fries and a medium soda. I think 30 minutes is tooooo long of a wait dontcha think. This store really needs to be shut down or get the main manager out of there. I think I read his name tag as Willie. He is the one I always he yelling at his staff in front of customers and he doesn't care if there are children are in the lobby he uses curse words in front of them... Whomever hired him needs to rethink their decision. I don't think he knows how to order inventory because if he did they wouldn't run out of product all the time. And the coffee when they do have coffee um well tastes like decaffeinated coffee. Plus it didn't help wake me up I had to stop elsewhere and get caffeine coffee. It's a joke there and very chaotic during the day until about oh I'd say 10-11pm is the latest I've gone. Hey BIG BOSS!!! HIRE SOMEONE WITH MORE BRAINS THEN THE CLOWN TOU HAVE RUNNING THAT PLACE NOW. IT COULD BE A NICE RESPECTABLE ESTABLISHMENT IF SOMEONE ELSE...
Read moreI mainly work at night, and didn't have any lunch yesterday, due to the fact that I don't work well on a full stomach. For that reason as well, I did not have any dinner, as I work at night, and was driving to work for about 5 hours last night, then after working, driving another 4 hours back to Dubuque, and I chose this burger king, due to the number of stars, and the distance from my place. When I approached the counter, the gentleman that I spoke to, was very polite, and professional, and I hold nothing against the staff whatsoever. I'm sure the food here is very good, and the staff works very hard to make every customer happy. However, it seems that the old slogan of Burger King, "Have It Your Way", is no longer in effect. I arrived at 9:45 roughly in the morning, and was really craving a lunch/dinner like meal from Burger King. I even quoted the "Have It Your Way" slogan, as I had asked if they could make me a burger and fries, and they said they can't do that until 10:30 a.m. I explained that the breakfast sandwiches and meals rip my stomach to shreds, and he apologized, but its policy. When did policy, take over compassion add human understanding, and the willingness to do for others in a special situation? That would have been true customer service, but instead, these people are bound by Burger King policies and schedules. They cannot falter from these policies and schedules, or be penalized most likely by their superiors, who probably went to Burger King College to obtain the great position that they hold! I'm going to go find a Culver's or a Freddy's. Perhaps they will serve me a bacon double cheeseburger and large fries this early in...
Read morePlace was relatively clean even though we visited at 10pm on a Friday night. Placed order of their 2 for 6 Whoppers, 1 on two button buns with no lettuce or seeds. Explained to the young man at the register to just make them but use the top buns for 1 and the use the 2 bottom buns of the pair for the the without lettuce or seeds. We also ordered a children's meal of nuggets. When we took the food to the table 30 seconds after ordering, the nuggets we cold, hard and tasted like cardboard ( grandson didn't care for them and he eats everything). The Whoppers were messes, they made the one that was to have no lettuce or seeds on bottom buns were made on the seeded bun with lettuce, and the other was made on 2 bottom buns. We we're on with just switching the buns & lettuce with little inconvenience, however when this was brought to the attention of the employees the response was sadly very nonchalant telling us to just switch them around. We asked "what happened to your slogan have it your way"? The response was " I guess not today"! Really?? Lastly our grandson knocked over his 1/2 kids meal side poo on the floor on accident, I quickly got up & placed napkins on the rapidly spreading puddle. My husband went up to the counter, explained whatever whatever happened while apologizing and asking for a broom. The young man at the counter said he'd clean it up when we leave. So we offered to move so he could mop and he responded " with no I'll get it later. WOW!! If my employees ever said something like that to one of our business we'd definitely not be in business. Very sad statement about that store, they evidently...
