My experience with Staples is more of presence than anything else. The staff at Staples is friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile for the consumer. The problem I have with Staples is more of a corporate issue based on online market pricing of items stocked versus box store supply and demand. I realize you have the costs of staffing, the brick and mortar expenses, but your costs versus prices are creating a store full of dust collection. I can walk through and see 80 to 85 percent of your products not even close to a marketable price to move product. I have come to the conclusion that Staples is quickly running to a bankruptcy court if they don't alter from a box store mentality to a lower price/volume sale structuring. I purchased a laser printer and needed assistance to my car with it and then I had to return some toner from a recent purchase and they were very understanding, patient and helpful. I would give them as high of a score as I possibly could. The manager and employee went above in beyond…….that is unheard of in today’s world and I very much appreciated it…….especially after an exhausting day of my HP printer breaking down that I just purchased from there a year and a half okay. Read moreI needed to have something faxed so I stopped at my local staples. When asked what I needed help with I stated I needed to fax something. She told me they don’t do that and pointed to the machine to do it myself. I didn’t know what I was doing and before I knew it I was charged $3.26 for a blank piece of paper. I called my bf to come in and help from the car. From there I got a paper jam and another girl came over to help with that and didn’t know what she was doing either. So I finally got my fax sent and was charged an additional $5.00 cause I HAD to use my debit card. These people work there why can’t they fax stuff for a customer?
