Absolutely, hands down, the Absolute worst service we've EVER had from any take restaurant, hands down. And we eat out 3x a week on average. Did I mention that I was waited on & taken care of by the MANAGER as well? That place most definitely needs a complete overhaul in management and employees. I ordered one meal, 4 baguettes, a bowl of soup, a Ceaser salad and potstickers. That's it. Yet SOMEHOW they still managed to completely screw up our small order in a ridiculous huge way. I ordered our meal on their app 2 B picked up. Now I must preface this by saying...we used 2 eat here A LOT. Like 2-3x a month. Not so much any more after tonight. My order was supposed 2 B ready at 615. We live 30 minutes away, one way. I got there at 555pm. I screwed around on my phone 4 a bit. At 605 I got a message that my order was completed and ready 4 pick up. OK. So I go 2 the drive thru. Ummm, nope it's actually not ready yet. But just stay at the pu window as it will B ready momentarily. OK. So I wait and I wait. It's now 610, and there's another car behind me. I ask the staff if I should pull over and how much longer. They said just a few short minutes and 2 just stay there. Fine. The person behind me is getting impatient and I don't blame them. They then start 2 honk their horn. Finally I get our food. The manager brings it to me. She asks...did U have a couple of individual orders? I said that I did. She said, OK, they're right here, ready 2 go. Great. It's now like 625. She closes our encounter out by saying...See U next time. I pull ahead a bit to clean my glasses, so I was stopped not more than 20 ft from the take out window. Then, as I'm driving out of the parking lot, I pull over in front of the pizza place 2 take a call. So twice I was parked within a stone's throw away. I get all the way home and start 2 unpack the food. All I find is the 4 baquettes and my son's Penne Rosa. Oh, a 4 packets of MELTED BUTTER all over everything. Apparently one needs a chemical engineering degree 2 fully understand the effects of heat on pats of wrapped butter. Jeesuz. They were melted all over what was in that bag. Which was only 40% of our meal, what I ordered and what I paid for. So I call them up. I get the manager right off the bat. She ALREADY KNEW that I never got all my food and told me so. OK, so why didn't someone CALL me about it? I've literally been ordering here 2-3x a month since day #1. I'm a rewards member. U know my name. It would've literally taken U 30 seconds 2 look me up and get my phone #!!! So, back in I have 2 go again!! Especially if I want 2 eat as it was my husband's and my good she forgot. I'd had absolutely no problem with all this IF they were busy, but I was literally the only person there, inside or out, until that other car pulled in behind me. In fact, they had 2 different guys cleaning and stocking the place, they were so slow. So I travel all the way back in there, in the dense, heavy fog that was out last night. I pull up and talk 2 the manager. And wait some more!! I finally get all my food. I ask for some more butter for our baquettes and explain why and what happened. I say that this is literally the SIXTH time that the butter was melted and that I've complained each and every time. Each time I'm promised that they'll put in in a container with a lid or in a separate small bag to keep that from happening. Each time I'm lied to. It's maddening having everything in the bag completely covered with melted butter. I mean, the whole idea and premise of getting take out is to AVOID A MESS in the kitchen and for the convenience. Cleaning up melted butter abd/or getting plates, bowls and Silverware out 2 use rather negates all that!!! I got a half-hearted apology from the manager and that's it. So I wasted yet more time, about an hour and 15 minutes, and my gas and energy driving in less than satisfactory road and weather conditions just to make up for their preposterous lackadaisical incompetence. Ridiculous. I get a half hearted apology and absolutely no compensation for the...
Read moreMy husband and I went to noodles and company on Saturday in the afternoon. I have been to several noodle and company locations, such as Davenport, Des Moines and Waterloo. Understandably, the food is from a chain, so it was decent. The food quantity and quality for the price is debatable, but if you are wanting a quick meal without fast food, this is up your alley. The place was average on cleanliness due to us coming off the tail end of a lunch rush. Service is something i was not impressed with. The cashier is what dramatically lowers my review. She, a shorter girl with black hair, needs further training or a position transfer of some sorts. My husband signed up for a rewards program since mine was not working, so he received a coupon to use towards his purchase. Coming from retail and food service ourselves, we always make a point to double check coupons ourselves so that way we don't become bothersome or an inconvenience. There was a featured food item that I was interested in and I misinterpreted that the meat description was in the noodle, not as the 'main protein' that is typically with noodles. Her 'description/explanation' was not clear and made it seem like it was a puree or sauce 'injected' in the noodle. My husband was able to discern the menu and was the one who explained it to me clearly. Not the service worker. Now, I am not asking for top tier service or even great, my expectation at a food place is if the workers can do the job. They don't want to be there, especially for minimum wage, and I don't blame them. She was rude. We had a coupon to use for $2 off a dessert. Which yes, it's only $2 but we wanted to use up the coupon to get more coupons, since several reward programs only send out offers once the existing one is used up. She did not understand the POS system and it seems like several employees are aware of that. The coupon was not applying because of an error on her side ( I was able to discern that from a comment from an employee later) and instead, she was almost argumentive to my husband and was not willing to get assistance until my husband asked for it. The manager who came over was pleasant, apologetic and was able to resolve the coupon situation. I ended up getting a drink a few minutes later since we forgot and the employee, a blond hair gentleman, was great! He was able to provide pleasant and quick service. So, to summarize the experience, if you want noodles and company, this place would be fine for order pick up or drive thru. I do not...
Read moreHi I went to the new Noodles and Company in Dubuque Iowa last saturday night and was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I ordered online and when I went to pickup my food inside it wasn’t there. It said on the app it was ready so I asked someone working and they said they accidentally gave it to the wrong customer and they would remake it. I stood there for 30 mins while customers walking in the door and ordering all got their food. I had to ask yet again where my food was and waited even longer. No refund no apology nothing. I worked in customer service the past 20 years and I can’t imagine not offering either a refund or a coupon for a free meal/meals. It try making me so sad because I do love the food but that was really terrible customer service. I wasn’t even hungry by the time I got home as I was so upset by the whole situation. I did a surgery that evening and never...
