2025 - nephew asked me to take him here. Ugh. I went in and they ignored us for a few minutes. Why? I don't know. Two women were at tye register looking annoyed avoiding eye contact and one was completely turned around making waffles for the waffle cones. After a really generous amount of time.... I said CAN WE GET SOME SERVICE. Lady turned real slow with an annoyed look and then helped us. Employees appear mad to be here. Ice cream looked amazing though.
Back in the day, they used to cheerfully greet the customer, sing for tips, and everybody had a smile on their face. This is the complete opposite of that.
2024 - I came in and stood in line. Staff asked me in a rude tone if I was going to pay for the people in front of me and I said no. They informed me I walked to the front of the line. There were only 2 other people up at the counter apart from me. It was then made clear to me that they reversed the patron line order and I went to the other end. Two women were running the store inside both of which had colorful hair and piercings all over. No problem with that but they were also somewhat rude and ignored me. They didn't ask me to wait, nothing. I stood there for a really good long time until one of them finished their half of the ONE order BOTH of them were working on together, and then proceeded to turn and start cleaning instead of taking my order. I gave up and told them, "thanks anyway." They said something rude under their breath as I left. Oh my God nobody should come to this place based on my experiences. I've been dealing with the same refusal of service for years.
2022 - middle eastern guy that wouldn't serve me wasn't there. Now it's fully staffed by teenagers and they are promptly serving people. Maybe he sold the place?
2021 - I came in today, was the only customer. Guy running the store was on the phone. I waited for five minutes. He made no attempt to even make eye contact so I left.
2016 - I have patroned this business in the past... The business had a different attitude. The employees would cheerfully greet the customer, but they don't do that anymore. They used to sing after receiving a tip, but they don't do that anymore. Pretty unfriendly on a usual basis. So it becomes hard to justify going out for two cups of ice cream that cost $10.70 when it's suppose to be about the experience and the Experience just isn't there anymore. Not only that, they're trying to work a few tricks on how not to actually fill the bottoms of these little 4 oz cups. I mean come on... A while ago, I think it was even the owner... he was in the back doing something like pulling things out of cabinets and putting them back. He asked us if we could wait while he messes around in back. He left us waiting more than five minutes... so to the owner and management - start being friendly again, greet the customer, sing for your tips, it's why people pay that super high price. Stop it with the disgusted looks at your customers. If you don't like your job, there's plenty of others...
Read moreI door dashed an ice cream tonight Sunday August 25th to my work and the guy gave it to me in a brown paper bag that was stapled together and left before I even had time to open it. My order was in correct. I paid extra for an extra topping that I did not get on my ice cream. Also the size was wrong. I paid for the love it and I got the like it. I called the store to tell them nicely what happened. The guy who answered talked over me and said there’s nothing he’s going to do about it because he was busy. I asked for a manager and he said goodbye and hung up on me. I called again and he hung up on me again without me even talking. He then took the phone off the hook. So tomorrow I’ll be calling again to try to talk to a manager about how rude this worker was. You do not treat customers like that especially since they got my order wrong and was treating me with such disrespect. I paid for something I didn’t even get. & I tried to contact door dash to get my money back and they denied it as well even tho I took a pic of my ice cream. I had to wait forever in line for 2 people in front of me to gossip with the worker and then they were given extra mix ins at no charge. When I finally got to order, the kid was more concered with playing with his hair than taking my order. Ge asked me 7 times what was in my smoothie and acted like it it was the end of the world to make my smoothie. He sighed and grabbed the blender pieces and slammed them on the counter. After I paid he was immediately playing on his phone and did not try to help the other girl. My sister had gotten three different ice creams and had asked for them to go. They were made but when she got hers they were not mixed at all and the two for our parents were not mixed well either and one had the toppings sprinkled on top like they forgot to mix them in.
