Dippin Donuts — Restaurant in Dudley

Would give 5 stars but when it's 15 minutes before 6am and I work 30 seconds away, I'm constantly late because the employees take breaks right before people need to be at work. The drive through line is around the corner, so I go in and still takes 10 minutes with 1 person in front of me. You have 3 to 4 people running the drive through and 1 or zero people at the counter while people are in the room to the right on their phone complaining to their boyfriend. The manager should tell them to only take breaks at the start of the hour instead of a few minutes before the hour. Just common sense. People get coffee on the way to work. Work doesn't start until the beginning of the hour. (A few months later) Update: I don't know what's been going on there the past couple weeks but they need to hire new staff at this point. I couldn't figure out why it was taking 10 minutes at the drive through with one person in front of me, but it was clear when I got to the window and it was chatting time for the employees. This is, hands down, my favorite donut shop. The food is always fresh and no matter what you order, you get your money's worth. Their muffins are moist, good sized and delicious. Their pastries are to die for and I'm particularly partial to the coffee rolls which you can get glazed, with chocolate or with maple. They are huge with just the right amount of cinnamon. My friends all swear by their coffee and their breakfast sandwiches are satisfying. The service is always fast and friendly and they believe in baker's dozens. If you are wondering why only 4 stars, they lost it due to their parking lot and drive-thru. While they have done everything they could with the space available, it is just a problem when you cannot leave because people block you in waiting for the drive thru. I'm just hoping the donut drive-thru that opened up a block away closes down so Dippin's can take that over and use it for their own drive thru. The service is really bad, but the coffee and food are very good. It sucked I've had to stop going because of how bad the service has gotten. I even tried tipping more and it changed nothing.... I tried going at different times of day and that did show somewhat of a difference. The afternoon people are much better at service than in the morning.

If the female workers don't like you, they seem to make you sit and wait for your order(sometimes even till it's cold)? They make up the coffee and just have it sit at the window as you sit there...
