The Cottage on Main really hit all the Mark’s! 5 stars from my family for their awesome staff, great location and amazing food for my nephew’s rehearsal dinner! My sister and I were allowed into the venue in plenty of time to decorate and George even assisted us with simple items we forgot. When we returned for dinner at 6:00 we were feasted with a large selection of amazing food! We had small appetizers served while we were mingling at the bar and also while seated at the table. The homemade Southern style Pimento cheese is to die for. My adult family members had the pleasure of ordering each of the entrees and they were all top quality products cooked to perfection. We had the beef and salmon filets, chicken breast and lamb chops. They were all brought to us on time, at the correct serving temperature and were served perfectly with our sides! We had some great desserts served with endless cups of amazing coffee to end our dinner. I would highly recommend this place for any small to medium gathering you are interested in having. They worked well with us and didn’t mind answering our millions of questions along the way! Thanks again to The Cottage on Main at the Payne Corley House in Duluth, Georgia for making our once in a lifetime family event an...

Intimate beautiful historic home that serves lunch.First the atmoshere cool and elegant white tablecloth but far from overly formal nice.Warm and welcoming started with the scones they were dense and fluffy with dried sultanas (raisins) and served with the most delish marmalaide butter. I followed with the pimento cheese dip served with butter crackers and celery. The dip was homemade with freshly grated new york cheddar, pimento in a creamy nufetal creamcheese. The main course was my go to when there are so many great choices and you have trouble deciding. The salmon salad on spring mix with fresh fetta garden tomatos and a bright zesty rasberry vinnagrette. The salmon was cooked perfectly with simple elegant seasoning nested atop the greens thinly sliced bermudas and english cucumber the dressing is served on the side. The staff is attentive and made me feel like a long time friend. This place is quietly nestled between the lush grounds adjacent to the famed Payne-Corley house best romatic place for outdoor wedding and reception, one would mistake it for part of the complex as I did a modestly priced lunch in a cool Victorian home awesome. Our daughter got married a few weeks ago and both bride and groom wanted to have a small intimate reception. They chose The Cottage on Main in Duluth, GA. This venue is beautifully decorated with a warm, cozy, and charming atmosphere. We loved everything about this place and we’re so glad we held the reception here. The manager, George was a delight to work with. He was professional, highly organized, and very accommodating with all our requests. He truly wanted to make sure my daughter was happy with all the details. He and his staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help us make our daughter’s reception a memorable one! The food was fabulous, so fresh and delicious with generous portions. The chef provides an eclectic array of mouthwatering options on the menu. You will not be disappointed with anything you choose! George and his staff attended to us like we were royalty. Everything far exceeded our expectation! I can personally say that we, and our guests experienced an outstanding level of food and service. I would highly recommend The Cottage on Main to anyone looking for the perfect venue to hold your...

I really enjoyed Magnolia Cottage and it is a hidden gem in my eyes. Upon entering you are greeted with so many pretty pieces of china and furniture. It's well appointed. The table was spread so nicely and the staff is wonderful! We got to meet the new owner, a lovely lady who is also the pastry chef. My favorites food wise were the amazing scones! I want that recipe! It was really delicious! They make their own butter and fruit spread. You can taste the difference. I loved how they presented the cucumber with pimiento and will be borrowing that for an upcoming teatime. The egg salad and chicken salad were good as well. The desserts! There were so many that most of us didn't taste them all at the time but carried a little box home with the ones we wanted. Lucky for us we got to experience the theme for February which was pink! The pastry chef did a wonderful job! Our servers were excellent and attentive to every request! I loved the china, crisp white restaurant linens and I could go on and on. They serve lunch and also brunch so if you are able to go one day I'm pretty sure you will enjoy the visit. Tell them Sharon sent you!
