This was truly one of the best experiences I had in a while while just stopping off somewhere along the way either where I was going or back to the house. This truly was a great place the fact that it was all fruit or healthy items really made it a very delicious treat. We had the hurricane bowl and the tropic bowl which were two of the most popular bowls that they had and we see why. The hurricane bowl had peanut butter and chocolate in it mixed with the acai and with banana strawberry kiwis and some granola mixed in it was truly amazing. Now the traffic ball was just as amazing with pitaya known as dragon fruit as a base which was awesome and then it had peanut butter over the top some bananas strawberries and some granola inside which made it taste so complete. We love the vibe of the restaurant because it had the nice sofas that you can sit on or just sit at a chair to table and it has some great music playing they had the projector with the scenes of the hot vacation spots is like it took you right there. We definitely recommend this spot and while you're in there try hurricane or tropical or any of the other options they have for you or get it to go if you don't have time to stay but I would suggest you eat it there. Thank you to the owners of Tropic Bowls Cafe, it's truly a reason now for us to come to Duluth on a more regular basis and I'm looking to try out some of that healthy toast they have as well looks like that's a very good treat too, also have a salad option and smoothies so where can you go wrong I don't think you can at all. And the best part is everything is all healthy and natural which is the best way to eat for your treats of the day, think about a ice cream bowl made of fruit only that is truly a sight to to the light in especially with your spoon and into your mouth. Until later y'all just continue to enjoy this amazing restaurant that I'm so glad my wife decided to ask us to stop by and take a gander....
Read moreUNFORTUNATELY THE SERVICE HERE IS INCONSISTENT. We have gotten açaí bowls multiple times here. When the guy makes the bowls it’s great. But when the blonde makes them, she always gets them wrong.
This time I asked for specific fruits and no granola or honey for one bowl. On another bowl I asked all the toppings it came with. You would think it’s simple instructions.
But unfortunately instead of stating they don’t have granola, she added PLAIN OATS to both bowls. It’s made the bowls taste disgusting.
To make this worse, my husband is allergic to oats, THANK GOD I realized his bowl had oats too before he ate it. We had to throw them out. A waste of money. But I’d rather throw it out than have gone to the hospital for an allergic reaction.
This establishment needs to make changes before they get sued for negligence.
Will not be coming here again. DO...
Read morePlace is super cute! I love all the games they have for kids. Unfortunately the smoothies were underwhelming and kind of watery, not creamy like a smoothie usually is. I also got 2 bowls and the açaí was extremely watery as well. They give a good amount of toppings, but the bowls are so uncomfortable to use. You can’t even eat the bowl correctly because of the bowls they use. The bathroom was also not very clean which is a big issue for me. I was really happy to find a small business with açaí bowls because I get them often so it’s unfortunate. A lot of other people post great reviews though so I just wanted to post...
