McDonald's has these huge self-serve kiosks to take customer orders and speed up service. It would be convenient if the kiosks worked. After about five minutes of standing there, pushing buttons, and finally getting to review my order, the total was well over $120. The kiosk was charging menu price for a breakfast promo. I canceled the kiosk order and went to place my order at the register. Every employee I saw in McDonald's that day, had their backs turned and were chatting to each other. Upon getting the attention of and explaining what had happened at the kiosk, the employee shrugged and told me they "usually don't" work. She was great, really. She took my order, with promos applied, I paid...then came the part where I checked my order before leaving. Sandwiches and hashbrowns were missing. The employee was apologetic and we left with the order we had set of to get in the first place. I don't see how an ordering system meant for speed and convenience can ever replace real customer service. The kiosks are a waste of time. One last thought...the food was terrible! Worst presentation I've seen, half-wrapped, with the contents falling out of wrappers, hashbrowns completely stuck to the wrappers. Overall it was a real disappointment. No plans to ever go...
Read moreI had ordered a bacon egg cheese bagel and a hash brown and a Blended coffee (which all is not to cheap when on disability for siezures anyways....) I made sure to say blended correct? A few separate times. I even said sucks my blender at home broke so and i am on tight money as well sounds stupid but ya I receive a Carmel machhiaoto and just ice cubes.... I waited and asked then to blend it I even offered to pay any difference.... it wasn't just what she said it was how she said it with.a.complete downward look about me and was.EXTREMELY SNOTTY AND RUDE. I LIVE.IN THE AREA.AND COME HERE WIT MY BF A LOT!!! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TOLERATE RLDISRESPECT. (.SHE WASNT THE ONE.ON TH RLLE REGISTER BUT THE ONE BY DEINK MACHINES AT 953 AM. IT ENDED WITH HER TURNED AROUND FROM And continued on so I ended up walking out with coffee with ice and it which I did not want. I can make that at home and for the way she was treating me and talking to me which is unacceptable. I come here almost daily between me. My kids and my boyfriend. From long waits in the drive thru, and I’m talk about 10-15 minutes, to forgetting items in the bag, to rude customer service, to getting stuff missing on a sandwich like onion and pickle, to cold fries, over salted fries, and last but not least the overly priced food items……I can honestly say I am done with it. I’m no longer interested in being a customer. Because it is not convenient, it’s not good quality, and it’s not worth the wait, and it’s especially not worth trying to talk to the service. Four days ago I drove through the drive thru for dinner, as I pulled up, I waited to get someone to say the usual, “Will be using the mobile app.” After a quick “no” I waited and waited til finally someone asked what I would like. I ordered the number 4a. After getting a total I moved up and the line was normal but it wasn’t going anywhere. I noticed the person was on their cell phone texting every few seconds which is fine but to be completely focused on the phone when this line wasn’t going anywhere was completely aggravating.
