Mr. D's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Duluth

It was a quiet night . I came in on Valentine’s Day 2020 with a bunch of middle aged drunk ladies (they know how to have a good time) and the bartender was quick, courteous and did a great job with dealing with the ladies who were trying to order shots that they had no idea how to make (as a bartender , Even I was confused and couldn’t figure out what they were asking for) ... he made drinks similar to what they were “looking for” and held his composure through the annoyance that was my group... thank you so much for putting up with us and giving great service . (... ps my group was not horrible. Just the bartender did a great job dealing with the single 50’s Valentine’s Day crew and a very confused 24...

Very poor service - no follow-up after our food arrived and the food didn't arrive all at once either. Always had to ask for things a second or third time or had to go up and get it ourselves! Even had to go up to the bar and ask for the bill and to get a to go box! We were asked if everybody in the party paid & then the waitress (once was being told yes & showing her where the payment was) asked one guy to leave. One drink was supposed to be purple and it came blue!!! The bartender got upset when asked to redo it so that it tasted and looked right. Unbelievably poor service. Fish...

The Bloody Mary bar constantly ran out and was not worth the $4. That was the first thing that was not good. The burger special for $5 was not worth it. Portion wise on the fries it was ok but every burger in our group was charbroiled way beyond what it should have been. Had to drowned it in BBQ sauce to choke it down and even then could only finish half of it. I even cut my lip on a chipped mug. No game day specials either. To top it off it took forever to get our bills processed. Yup...won't be back and would not suggest going...
