In my opinion this is the best place in the Atlanta area for gourmet cupcakes. The cupcakes are soft, moist, and flavored with real fruit. The frosting is made with cream so it is really soft and not too sweet, it’s perfect! You can find the Sweet Spot in a small shopping plaza in Duluth with free parking directly in front of the store. You can walk in or place an order in advance. You will find so many unique flavors here and they also change things up once in a while and add seasonal flavors. In addition to cupcakes they also make cakes, online cake orders cutoff 72 hours prior to the day of pickup.
Need to know – cupcakes must be kept refrigerated and can maintain at room temperature for up to 2 hours. Container sizes come in counts of 1, 2, 4, 6, and 12. Online cupcake orders are cutoff one day prior to the day of pickup.
On to the good stuff… I ordered 6 cupcakes this visit for a total of $14.94, not including tax or tip. It was a difficult decision, I ordered; Taro, orange creamsicle, peach, Thai tea, and two lychee cupcakes. The Lychee and Taro are my favorite. The banana cream pie was also delicious. Each cupcake is only $2.49.
Service – was okay
Shop – is very clean, cupcakes are organized and labeled so it’s easy to order.
This is my favorite cupcake shop and I will definitely...

I had the durian cupcake and it was SOOO flavorful . I love how the cake is moist even though they’re served cold , not room temperature. the frosting is just cherry on top. It’s not too sugary and you can taste the durian, not a lot of artificial taste. I also tried the pandan and lychee (got 6 diff flavors in total to try) & yall , It is 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼💯💯💯💯.
Im telling yall, this man is running his business on PASSION , his cupcakes are the best I’ve had in a LONG time. I really appreciate the unique flavors I’ve not seen before coming to his shop. The cupcake flavors are all flavors I’ve grown up with … like pandan, taro, lychee, Thai tea, durian , etc.
Also,I mentioned taking some cupcakes on my flight back to boston and he carefully packaged them in syringe wraps with a gel pack . (And tips on how to keep them fresh for the flight, since his cupcakes use REAL CREAM not buttercream like most bakery does)
You will NOT be disappointed . A cupcake is 2.99.
Keep up the good...
Read moreI had the chance to go to many other venues. Publix, online stores, other professional, name-brand bakeries. But I chose this store because it was local, and I wanted to support small business. I had no idea what was in store for me. That I would come away a changed man.
The selection they had on site didn't try to be flashy, or have over-the-top decorations bestowed upon their frosting to sell only to the eye while never living up to the expectation of flavor. Yet neither were they bland, like so many chain stores, varying only in artificial dyes to lazily peddle their wares to the ignorant consumer.
No, the cupcakes were elegant. Small. Fresh. Some decorated with nuts or powdered spice. The creamsicle with just a tiny orange slice. There was an elegance in their simplicity that cannot be described with words. It has been said that a TRUE designer knows they have achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away...
I tasted their banana cream...
