I first went to Dr. Ella Xu because I have gotten tired of trying everything out there ( in Western medicine) for my asthma & other signs of aging --- pains behind my knees and my upper back/ upper spine. A little background, my daughter highly recommended Acupuncture & herbs because her dad studied Eastern traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and she also benefits from these treatments. So, when I met Dr. Xu, she first examined my conditions by checking out my ears --- from this alone, she was able to tell that I have weakened lungs & that my body has a lot of heat....Yang energy (that also accounts for my hot flashes - menopause in the wee hours of the morning). Dr. Xu was able to notice as well that my skin has some issues connected to my weakened lungs. I was quite impressed, because all these were true. I did have problems with my skin & I could not tell exactly where it came from. It definitely made sense to me. So I started with 5 Acupuncture treatment sessions and she also recommended herbs that she herself mixed for my hot flashes & Asthma. My 5 acupuncture treatments were 30 mins. in length and on a weekly basis. Dr. Xu, is very knowledgeable about the acupuncture points/meridians that she willingly explained to me as she was placing the skinny needles on different parts of my body. You can ask her any questions you may have and she will explain & answer your questions. Of course, you also have to maintain the quiet & serene atmosphere of these treatments. So after finishing just my first 2 treatments, I noticed that my hot flashes were disappearing....I was not woken up anymore between 2-4 AM, with hot sweats and needing to take off my clothes! My asthma seemed to have benefitted from the herbal tea remedy that she gave me --- but at the same time, she told me that the weakness in my lungs require more treatments, not just 5 acupuncture sessions. I have noticed some improvements with my breathing & I don't need to use my steroid inhalers anymore.... But the asthma still gets triggered depending on the air quality & pollutants in my daily environment. I know this a very long review, but I wanted to be thorough, especially for those who are not so sure, and afraid to start an acupuncture treatment option.... I was like that at first. Dr. Xu, calmed my worries and doubts about Acupuncture. She knows exactly where to place those needles so that it can stimulate the meridian points that according to Traditional Chinese medicine, allows for the proper circulation of blood flow and oxygen throughout the body ---- that is where the healing starts, our organs/body have the ability to heal itself (of course, granted that it is not ailments that are past the point of natural healing, such as cancer...etc.) and I am sure, after gaining the benefits of my initial acupuncture treatments, that even with these critical illnesses, Acupuncture can still help. I do not recommend Ella Xu at Nature Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic. During my first appointment, an acupuncture needle inserted by Ella, caused surging pain; this quickly escalated into a full neurological episode where I lost mobility and speech. Ella's response was appalling: she refused to remove the needle initially, became angry and demanding, yelled at me to get up, and physically tried to force me off the table while I was partially undressed/paralyzed. She never called 911 or attempted to find my emergency contact. Instead of helping, she left to retrieve her phone and recorded footage of me in medical crisis, documenting my medical emergency on her personal phone without consent. Additionally, while I was incapacitated, her business sent a message that she charged my credit card $180. Her conduct was negligent, inhumane, and dangerous. I left in an ambulance. I filed a report with the Georgia Medical Board and urge extreme caution or avoidance of this...

I had a chronic Sinus problem for the past one year. Took various medicines both OTC and prescription ones. Went to ENT specialist, they often gave me Antibiotics and steroids.
