Nash & Smashed — Restaurant in Dumfries

I was very excited to try the food from new outlet... But was really shocked to see the downfall of the customer service... I ordered their signature nash and smashed burger and a waffle fries... Food was good but the service I got over there "Unbelievable"... The manager was taking all orders... It was in his face written all over " I am super annoyed, just pay and LEAVE... After I placed the order I gently asked for one hot sauce on the side and waiting time for food... He got annoyed when I asked for the sauce and rudely replied 15 mins... After that I went outside, and came back right after 8 mins... I asked him if the food is ready he didn’t reply but then I noticed my foods been already prepared and kept in the corner... I asked the manager if that's my food, instead of appologyzing he rudely replied me "I called you twice, you weren’t here". I was thundered literally... He told me it is gonna take 15 mins whereas the food was ready in between 5-7 mins, also he didn’t hand me any buzzer, rather he tried argue with me in front of other customers... It was ok if he was showing attitude with me only because I am a brown guy... But he was super rude with everyone... The Mushroom Meltdown Burger Melted My Soul!! 10/10 (If I could give it 11, I would) Listen… I don’t know who at Nash and Smash Burger came up with the Mushroom Meltdown, but I hope their pillows are always cold, their playlists always hit, and their fries are always crispy because that burger was DIVINE!! Like, I took one bite and had to sit down and re-evaluate my life choices. Finger. Lickin’. Good!!! Mmmmmm!

Dumfries, you don’t even KNOW what kind of blessing just landed in your lap. Late night food around here has been giving “meh” for too long, and now Nash and Smash shows up like the culinary superhero we didn’t know we needed.

My sister rolled up late, real hungry, a lot tired, and that burger came through like a warm hug and a mic drop. Juicy, flavorful, cheesy, and SEASONED!! The perfect night cap. I’m not saying I saw stars, but I’m also not saying I didn’t.

Shoutout to y’all for bringing flavor and fun to Dumfries. My tastebuds thank you. My heart thanks you. My stomach? Ecstatic! See you again TOMORROW...

I was excited to try Nash & Smashed and had the opportunity to grab some lunch to go. It’s beautiful inside and definitely an elevated aesthetic compared to most fast food restaurants. The menu was large but I settled on the classic bull smashed burger combo. I ordered only 1 beef patti and a side of Mac n cheese. To be honest… the burger tasted like a checkers burger but did hold up better and was less soggy and messy. The Mac n cheese tasted like stouffer‘s mac & cheese but not as good and was just a cup of cheese water with noodles in it. I would never order the man n cheese again. I shouldn’t have to eat it like soup. Although I wasn't super impressed like a lot of the other reviews, I will eventually go back to try some of the other options.
