The water was the only good thing, and the coffee was decent. Every dish we tried (chicken and dumplings with sides of carrot and raisin salad and yam soufflé; and grilled pork chop with Mac and cheese, banana pudding and fried okra; and we got peach cobbler) was some of the worst food we’ve ever eaten. Chicken and dumplings had a very weird taste of lemon. Carrot and raisin salad tasted like straight up, textured mayonnaise Yam soufflé (how does one even mess that up??) had soggy pecans and the taste of margarine far overpowered the sweet potato flavor Grilled pork chop was dry, completely bland with no flavour Mac and cheese was really more of a velveeta cheese sauce mixed in with overcooked pasta Banana pudding was the only semi-edible food, and it was clearly the cheapest commercial pudding mix Fried okra was completely bland, with a weird aftertaste like there was cleaner or something in it. Peach cobbler was literally just canned peaches in a soup with a few globs Waitress did her best to provide good service, but when we went to the front to pay, we waited for a REALLY long time, and nobody came to the front until there were 3 other parties in line behind us We’ve both eaten better food at Waffle House. If Burger King or Jack in the Box (IMO, the worst of all the fast food chains) decided to open a country cooking restaurant, they might actually have done better. I’ve been there before today, but that was at least 7-8 years ago, the food was decent then which is the only possible reason for the high ratings. We are big supporters of local, small businesses, and stopped in today since we happened to be in the area. We will NEVER go back and if you hope to get edible food, I’d recommend you go...

We went in to eat at around 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon. The host asked us how we were and I said, "good, how about you?" and he took a deep breath and said, "busy, like chickens with our heads cut off". I looked around this little restaurant and saw maybe twenty people inside and thought...if this is "busy" I don't know how they stay open.

We both ordered diet coke to drink. The waiter informed us that they had diet pepsi, which is fine...who cares? Then when they brought our drinks out both drinks tastes very different. I thought, this is unusual that two drinks...both ordered at the same time...would taste different. I just got a glass of water.

We ordered our food I got the salad bar with my meal. The salad bar was low on some stuff and the stuff that was on there was a little warm and wilted. None of the dressings were labeled.

My meal came with three sides and I ordered two intentionally to see if the waitress would point out that I get a third. Instead of pointing that out, she just put my order in and the kitchen decided to double up one of my sides. It was an interesting concept. I don't really have an opinion about what happened there. I'm just reporting the facts LOL.

This is me being nit picky again, but my companion ordered a bacon, ham and cheese omelet. What came to our table was a bacon, ham and cheese scramble. This isn't such a big deal. It just tells me that a restaurant that serves breakfast all day didn't have one cook on a Sunday that knows how to turn an omelet. That is bad for business.

Overall, I gave this place two stars. Out of five stars, two and a half stars would be average...middle of the road. This place was below that. I wouldn't waste my...

My girlfriend and I arrived at this restaurant on a Monday night. We were greeted with smiles and seated. The nice Spanish lady that works at the front was our server. She was very nice along with Nick who is also a server. We ordered the all you can eat seafood and we at allllllll we could eat. I didn't realize until we paid and left that we had arrived 15 mins before closing and we didn't walk out until 8:45 or so......we felt sooooo bad we had kept them late. I had no idea what time it was when we came in. What was most surprising was although we were sitting, laughing and eating no one ever said a word about "we're closing" or gave any attitude indicative that we were being rushed. This place is top notch in service! I honestly would have not let a customer order all you can eat with 15 mins left until closing or at least made them aware that we will be closing shortly. Nicest people in the world. I hope they read this and accept our apology. Give these folks your business. You won't be...
