Read moreInitially, I gave this juicery 5 stars..... but yesterday I witnessed an employee verbally abuse two children. She accused both children of stealing. Those two children looked terrified and confused. My previous visit was also unpleasant, the male employee was aggressive and rude towards me.

Located on Main street and New York ave. the cafe isn't easy to see from the street , you will easily pass it if you never been to the location before. If you pass Bass boulevard you went too far.
Great atmosphere, calm and relaxing. The cafe has a rustic feel. Very clean.
There is one large dining table that customers sit around while waiting for the acai bowls to be made (5-10 minute wait time) . There is also 2 couches and bar area that seats 4 people.

Read moreThe entire staff at Escape Root is the perfect example of who any company or organization wants representing their brand. This staff is kind, compassionate, and just all around honorable humans!
A few weeks back, I had been looking forward to my bowl all day and dropped in mid-afternoon to pick up a bowl to take home, neglecting to realize they close at 3pm. I was having a VERY rough day personally and when they politely said they were closed, the weight of my day/personal things at that time got the best of me & my emotions, as this bowl was the highlight of my day I had been looking forward to all day.
Not only did they not treat me like a crazy person for my emotions that day, the two amazing women went above & beyond to not only make me the bowl I came for after they had already cleaned up, but they made me a 2nd to take home as well.
The world could learn a lot from Escape Root & their staff, to treat every customer as an individual, treating everyone with mutual respect, kindness, and ultimately compassion & understand.
