I’m actually severely disappointed in this place. When I first moved to the area two years ago I order almost 3 days a week. The owner would even do deliver himself. I stopped because I slowly saw a decline in the quality of food. I would order for delivery and would get my food an hour later and COLD. I live 5 minutes from there. My sauces or additional items would be missing. The food didn’t taste the same and was overall different. The last three times I ordered they messed up my order. Pissed. It was as simple as ordering bacon ranch pie and they forgot the bacon and ranch? I keep giving the benefit of the doubt since I LOVED this place, I use to recommend it to soooooooo many people. But I just can’t anymore. Too many chances and wasted money. Today I ordered my food and it was flavorless and again COLD and I’m so upset I spent all this money. I won’t be going back. TERRIBLE service and zero accountability or professionalism at this location. Clearly just a bunch of kids that have no idea what they're doing, and don't know how to prioritize orders or run a kitchen. Placed an order through Uber Eats at 7:00... app communicated a 35 minute wait. Called FOUR times to check on the status of it after we passed the hour marker. The first call we made the kid said they were working on it but got slammed with the Valentine's rush. The second call at about the hour and a half mark we were told they didnt start it yet. The 3rd call last call we were told it was out for delivery. The last call made at 9:23 p.m., someone who actually sounded like an adult said that the order was never made. Unreal. I'm sorry, but if you are a restaurant that can't handle the rush on a Friday night then you shouldn't offer the option of delivery and you shouldn't be on delivery apps. This little spot is located right in Dunellen and it’s definitely a must try. they only have a few tables, so keep that in mind if you decide to come here, but they do a lot of takeout orders and we have been to the other location located in rahway, which is much bigger but the food is just the same .service was great waitress was very attentive. Our servers name was Irma, super friendly and a pleasure to have serving us . They have a very nice selection of salads, pastas, and some pretty amazing pizza since it was only me and my husband, we decided to go with a Vodka pie and a Burrata salad, which were delicious . The pizza has good consistency and a slight amount char on the crust which makes it even more yummy. The salad very simple but good combination of flavors.
