I just happened to stumble upon this bakery today. My husband and I were craving something sweet and this popped up on google search. It’s not too far from where we live, so why not try? I bought the mango tres leches, the pineapple dominican cake, red velvet cupcake and a cake pop. Everything looked good, so I wanted to get a few things to try. Omg, the mango tres leches was the best thing I’ve ever tried. The dominican pineapple cake was very moist and the icing was bomb. Super legit. Been to DR and Ive had a lot of tres leches and dominican cake to compare this to since Ive been with my husband, and boy, this by far is the best tres leches, i have ever had. Bar none. To be honest they could be charging more for their cakes, because the quality and the presentation were very well executed. I super highly recommend. Sadly it looks like I’m going to be the first person to leave a bad review. I have a few reasons but I’ll just leave the two that bothered me the most. First, I went to pick up a cake for a birthday which is 50 dollars. That’s A LOT for a cake but I did anyways. The cake was however hard and taste a few days old. Secondly I saw two empanadas and decided to get them. They were both 5 dollars for small empanada that was cold. The meat inside was cold and the outside was obviously sitting for a bit. I totally understand that every business has to make the most money they can but please make a good product. If you charge 50 for a cake make sure it’s fresh.
