First time here in years. The last time was before they moved to this location. First impression was the person at the counter just inside the door was on the phone but still couldn't even acknowledge us in any way. Theres a sign that says dining room closed on one side and please wait to be seated on the other side. It was situated in a way that you wouldn't see it. None of the staff we saw were particularly friendly. Extensive menu options. Got french fries as an appetizer. They were bland and more warm than hot. They were probably made an hour before. The food we got was actually really good and mine was served right. The other order was meant to be cold and it was. Sodas were fountain drinks in glasses with ice. The glasses are deceptively small. It was not easy to get refills and the refills we received seemed to be given to us reluctantly. I've never understood the soda hoarding policy of some restaurants. If you're worried about losing money on soda then set the rlorice right for you and don't hold out on the customer. If sodas were to cost too much I would not return; but don't make me have to hunt you down for a refill. Conclusion: This is probably more of a local bar (bar to the left, dining to the right) than it is a dine-in restaurant. I would order food again for pickup but not dine-in because of the above reasons. I'd consider dine-in again in a few months maybe if I knew something changed. We ordered a basic pizza the first time we ordered from the old location. It was not good. It weighed about the same as the box it came in. That was at least two years ago. Could have been five years ago. This is just an honest review; just like all of my other reviews. I'm anonymous because I've literally been threatened even being anonymous when someone was able to track me down with my then phone number. I'm not saying to not give it a try dine-in but be warned. Write a review yourself...
Read moreMy daughter and I visited Grandes the evening of 1/4/20 hoping for a nice dinner. We were seated in the last booth on the left hand side. Unfortunately I did not catch the name of our so- called waitress. She was a young girl with long dark hair. She brought us our drinks and said she would be back to take our order. We waited 20–25 minutes and she never returned to take our order. However we did see her SITTING at another booth with some young girls which we assumed were acquaintances of her since she continued to sit in the booth and converse with them. The other waitress with short hair was working very hard and was hustling about while our waitress just sat and talked to her friends. After 25 minutes of waiting, my daughter and I got up to leave. As we passed the booth in which our waitress was sitting, I had hoped to say a few words to her but she wouldn’t even look at us. Unfortunately I will not be back to Grandes in the future. I see there was another review the day before my visit that had a similar experience with a waitress. I wonder if we had the...
Read moreThe only things consistent here are the pizza and their horrendous customer service! The people who answer the phones are never friendly, they screw up orders constantly and when you tell them about it, they don't even apologize and become rude! The last straw was placing a $50 delivery order for our company. They forgot some side items we were charged for and when we called to let them know we didn't receive everything, first we were hung up on twice by a girl pretending to not hear us. Then the male manager gets on the phone and says, "well if you expect us to drive back with the items (they forgot), it's not happening because it's lunchtime and we're busy!" When we asked for a refund, they told us they'd just take our name and credit us on our next order. Thanks but no thanks, you are awful! Just lost lots of regular business! Do yourselves a favor and skip this place, unless you feel like paying to be...
