Absolutely appalling customer service from a MANAGER nonetheless! Long wait time, disgusting food. Go to Dominos instead!
I placed an online order for delivery at 10:03 PM from my local store. The ETA on the website was 25-35 minutes. At 10:29 PM I received a text from Pizza Hut starting my order was out for delivery. Keep in mind I live 5 minutes from the location I placed the order. After waiting nearly 15 minutes, I called the store to see if they could give me an ETA on how long until it got there. The manager told me they don’t use the pizza tracker from the website or “even know how it works” and they “get complaints all the time”. He assured me my food left the store ten minutes ago and will be there any minute. I thanked him and hung up to continue waiting. Another 10 minutes later (at this point it is past 11 PM and I have been waiting over an hour for my food, and it’s been out for delivery for 30 minutes) I call back again. The manager answered, immediately grew hostile with me when I asked if he could please actually check where the driver was as I live on the third floor and have been waiting downstairs for a half hour. He went on to tell me that because I placed my order at the end of the night, he sent my order out with everyone else’s delivery orders and mine will be the last delivered because it was the last ordered. I asked how it was fair that I have to wait for everyone else’s food to be delivered first, the manager informed me “that’s how we do things at the end of the night”. I have NEVER heard of such a policy. I asked if I could get a credit for my order since it had been over an hour, the manager told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my food so he has no reason to credit or refund me. I went on to complain I had ordered the pizza around 10 PM and it was now past 11. The manager told me there was no way I ordered at 10 so I asked him to tell me the exact time, he said “I can’t tell you the exact time but I know it was way past 10”. He kept repeating things like, it’s the end of the night, I don’t know what you want me to tell you, that’s how we do things. I finally received my pizza at 11:15 from an extremely apologetic delivery driver that apologized for his manager. My pizza was lukewarm and disgusting.
I have been working in the service industry for 10 years and I truly don’t believe I have ever received such appalling service, from a manager nonetheless. I can’t imagine telling a customer they are wrong even when they actually are, let alone when the customer in this situation was absolutely correct. On top of that, if you close at 11 and I place an order at 10, that is NOT placing an order at the end of the night. If your location is open until 11 PM, I expect to be able to call at 10:50 PM and receive the same service as I would get if I called at noon. I received a measly free pizza but my disgusting service but I won’t even bother redeeming it. The next time I want a pizza when I got home from work at night I’ll gladly hit up the boys at Dominos down the road. The pizza will still suck but at least they know how to...

I paid online and did a no-contact delivery. They banged on my door demanding money I didn’t owe because everything was done online, however he stood out there banging on my door. At first I thought it was to let me know it was there, until he banged on the door again. My dog was barking and waking up people so I handed him whatever the girl at the store told him I owed, then when I looked over everything and seen stuff missing I called. Normally i wouldn't, but they made a huge deal for the money and didn’t give the product so I was obviously mad. The girl denied me a manger and hung up. I called 3 times asking and she said no and hung up. I decided I’d just call the next morning and talk to the manager on then. The girl working at Pizza Hut called me 40 minutes later when I’m sleeping because it was late, and left me this voicemail. I showed it to Ray the store manager and he said he couldn’t do anything and couldn’t even give me a number to call for cooperate. He said he would set something up. Read moreIt's understandable to be busy on Ash Wednesday AND valentines day, but, what IS NOT OKAY is to have a previous employee working behind the register. Let's ignore the fact that the cook was cursing and yelling loudly in a FAMILY environment. I placed my order online at around 9:30pm, and DID NOT leave the store until 10:15pm. I left the store before my food was ready because I watched that former employee heave like he was going to be sick, into a garbage can IN THE KITCHEN! The former employee (he told us he doesn't work there anymore, that he hasn't for a month!) then said "I'm gonna be sick." then ran to the back. That point, I decided to leave without a refund AND without my food.
Needless to say I'll not be ordering food from this establishment ever again. I hope this review gets the attention it deserves, because the service and the quality was deplorable. I'll attach a photo of my order receipt as proof this...
