Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet — Restaurant in Dunn

This place was actually really good. I was worried about trying it after reading some of the negative reviews but I’m really glad I did. When you walk in it’s very clean. You have to pay before eating which is fine. Maybe they’ve had some dine and dashers in the past. Western sizzler makes you do the same thing so it was fine. I’m one of those people who looks for grade cards and they actually had a 97.5 and that was as of August 31, 2023. So now I’m feeling even more confident in the choice that I have made to eat here! They had a wide selection of foods. Normally only eat off of the hibachi bar, but all the food on the bar kept coming out and everything was fresh so I decided to try some and it was yummy. From the bar I had the fried chicken wings and the crab rangoon as well as the black pepper chicken. The hibachi chicken and steak from the grill was my favorite. My boyfriend got the hibachi chicken steak and shrimp and he said that the shrimp was cooked well. The grill area was nice and clean and while the guy at the grill was cooking he was also restocking the hibachi bar with fresh vegetables, steak chicken, and shrimp. Tried out this place for the first time on 12/29/23. Upon entering, we immediately noticed how beautifully decorated this place was. It was also very clean. I think it’s actually very smart to pay upon entering. It also kept the traffic down as people were leaving. There is a large variety of food on the buffet and the price is great for the variety and quality. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The buffet was continuously replenished, and there was plenty. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were working really hard to keep the fresh food coming and had an excellent work ethic! Customer service was top notch. There is also a hibachi bar where you can have your dish made just the way you like it. The cook was very skilled and friendly. Also, they have a soup bar, which I really loved! My husband raved about the sushi and said he liked it just as good as another restaurant he visits that specializes in sushi. The food is really good here with a great selection. The food is much better quality than your average takeout Chinese restaurant. The place is clean and food area is kept clean and tidy. The restaurant has a good atmosphere. My major problem here is the price is too high per person. I have been a local and fan of the restaurant for years. My problem here now after my visit is the price is way too high per person. Families can no longer eat here or seniors on a budget. My kids barely eat anything and are 11 and 12 and are charged the same price as an adult. There should be a few dollars less for kids in this age range. It costs me and my two girls $54 to eat here ordering water to drink on a Monday night. These prices are too high for this area and the reason you don't have a packed restaurant. You would have more customers if you would reduce the price to around $15 adults and offer reduced price for kids through 12 years old. I would love to bring my entire family here again but unfortunately it costs too much as a family. I will have to find a cheaper Chinese restaurant going forward.
