This has long been one of my favorite places in Dupont. Until today. My spouse and I ordered the grilled onion burger. When it came it had no vegtables but grilled onion. Completely my fault. I must of not read the menu properly. The waitress says do you want lettuce and tomato and can grab it for you no problem. I say you don't have to its my own fault. She insists. So my Husband says ill take lettuce than as well thank you. 10 minutes at least later and 2 cold burgers she brings us both lettuce, Tom, raw onion and pickles. One very thin slice. 2 pickle chips. Inedible tomatoes. OK no problem really just wanted lettuce. Feel terrible for her having to do anything extra for us. Even if it is extremely empty for 12:30 pm. So we each eat less than half because again, it is ice cold at this point. Completely our faults. He has to get back to work and we need a check. Now never once did she say for each additional vegtable piece I am going to charge you 1.09. And again my Husband had just asked for lettuce. But now we have already given her our card and there is an additional 8.72 on our bill. Agsin... never once saying I am sorry you ordered wrong for yourself. I will offer you this option for this price per piece. Especially because a cheeseburger that came with all of that was actually cheaper than what we had accidentally ordered. We thought we were paying an additional 1.50 per to have them grill our onions. Not to remove everything else a cheeseburger comes with. But again, My own fault. I should of read the entire description. But to charge 1.09 for a half a piece of lettuce. 1.09 for a pulpy slice of tomato, 1.09 for 2 pickle chips, 1.09 for a sliver of raw red onion. Then times it by 2 without us even asking for that. I asked for lettuce and tomato. I would of sucked it up and gladly paid that and learney my lesson. My Husband asked for lettuce. Again our own fault. Then to add even more than we asked. Charge us extra and never once say anything is just dirty and crooked. I have never not tipped. I consider 20% the least amount you should tip ever. But I sure did not this time. You already inflated my bill by over 20% without a single word to us. I have been eating there regularly since 2011. But today was for sure the last time. The food gets worse every time. But the atmosphere was something we still enjoyed. But for the last year that has also disappeared. The service is extremely slow for how empty it is. And now your making up charges to what? Pad your bill in a desperate attempt to hide your steady decline? This was just dishonest and left me...

Stopped here 12/21/24 after a show in Seattle. It was 11:00pm and we noticed that they close at midnight. Hate being those people that show up right before closing, but figured an hour was plenty of time. Asked the waiter, a very nice young man, if he thought it was too late. He said not at all that we had 15 minutes still to put in an order. My boyfriend asked if there was anything we shouldn't order at this hour and he stated corned beef and cabbage because it takes several ingredients. We figured we would make it easy and ordered a couple sandwiches with fries and a pretzel with beer cheese. It all came out at once and the pretzel was cold and very dry with cold cheese. Not even a little warm. My sandwich was a ham melt and came with a cup of "tomato soup". The sandwich was very dry and not even grilled. Dipped it in ranch and ate it anyway because I was hungry. "Soup" was a chunky puree that was not the slightest bit warm and tasted like a funky marinara sauce, definitely not soup. I did not eat the soup. Fries were good. Boyfriend got Chipotle grilled chicken sandwich which he said was good, but also not even slightly warm. All in all came to over $50 and we were out of there at about 11:40pm wishing we had kept driving and found an Applebee's. Next day boyfriend was cramping in his stomach all day with no appetite. Monday he was sick out both ends at the same time with food poisoning. He was beyond miserable for about 24 hours. I know it was late, but a sandwich isn't that hard to make. Here we were try to order quick easy things and they didn't even heat any of it and still got him sick. We will absolutely never be back. I really should have asked for a manager, but was tired and just wanted...

I had the reuben egg rolls and was not impressed at all. I did eat them all because I was starving and hadn't eaten all day.
I've made these at home and mine were much better even though I'm not Martha Stewart. These tasted like the corned beef wasn't cooked with the normal seasoning mix that really gives it it's distinct corned flavor. They were presented well, cut diagonally which was nice and I'll do that at home when I make them next... however because there's just a sliver of meat and the most tiny amount of cabbage it is almost all egg roll wrap that I tasted when I ate it... missing out on the whole "Mmm... so good" kick in the tastebuds reuben flavor you are expecting and hoping for.
The Russian sauce was the MVP and pulled the clutch like Ichiro Suzuki. Without the sauce I would've sent it back. These don't need to be stuffed to the hilt but you definitely need a good balance/ ratio of the wrap vs filling ingredients or all you taste is a deep fried wrap with a hint of corned beef taste as an afterthought.
But, with that said and out of the way... service was great, wasn't too busy, all of our entrées were brought to our table together which can be a rarity these days. Cups were always full and it was busy but not too busy. I'll come back again for sure and try the shepherd's pie next.
P.S. Love the green couch up front (kudos to the upholsterer very well done) so soft and fuzzy and a nice cheery splash of color as you enter and there was not a speck of food or dirt on it... very clean which was nice! Will be back for another try... work on the egg roll ratio I spoke of earlier and I would be willing to give it...
