Yesterday I ordered Pasta, Cheese Sticks, Fries, and a soda. When my delivery arrived I was only given the Pasta and the Cheese Sticks. I showed my delivery driver my receipt and he said that he would go get my fries and my soda and be right back. He was very apologetic and nice which I appreciated. I live approximately 5 minutes away from this location (that's if I walk). I waited 30 minutes before I called in the store to ask where the rest of my order was. They said the driver just left and he is on his way. I am not the type to be assertive when I am dissatisfied with my order. So we almost ended the conversation there, however she noticed the disappointment in my voice and asked if there was any way they could make it right. We decided on a $5 credit towards my next purchase. Which in reality would refund the fries so I felt like that was fair. 10 minutes later my delivery driver arrived with my fries and my soda. Unfortunately my fries were soggy and lukewarm at that point. Today I ordered online and decided not to call in to use my $5 credit. I ordered cheese sticks and 12 bone in spicy garlic wings. When my order arrived everything was there except it was an order of 8 bone in spicy garlic Wings instead of 12, I looked at my receipt to make sure and I did pay for 12 wings. I personally wanted drive to the store and ask for More Wings because I ordered them for my husband (and I also paid for the 4 missing wings). However my husband said there's really no way we could prove that we didn't just eat the wings. I honestly didn't want to go through the effort of putting on my shoes and getting in my car and driving to the store, I just wanted to eat and go to bed. It's the fact that these mistakes happened two days in a row that make me feel extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I really enjoy Pizza Hut but now I'm not sure if I should order there anymore (at least online). There was a time prior to both of these incidents that I ordered online and got the text notification that my order was on its way and it did not get to my house until 45 minutes after. My food was still warm and everything was there so I didn't feel the need to complain. However having so many difficulties ordering online brings me to this low review, I want to bring attention to the issue in the hopes that the online delivery service will improve.
EDIT: I wrote this review two months ago. I since then haven't ordered from Pizza Hut...until today. Yes I orderd online, and yes it was wrong...again. I ordered a Ham, Bacon, and Pineapple pizza with Garlic Knots. My order came in a timely fashion which I appreciated. However they gave me the wrong pizza, they gave me a ham, pepperoni and sausage pizza. So I had to call and have them send me the correct one. By the time it got here I ate all my garlic knots and didn't even eat my pizza. That's besides the point though, two months ago I rated my review 2 stars, I am changing it to one because Dupont Pizza Hut continues to disappoint, and they're online delivery service hasn't...
Read moreWORST PLACE EVER! 2 months ago I placed an order online. It took 3 hours and 3 phone calls to the store until a pizza arrived. When it did it was ice cold and looked like it had been sitting there for 3 hours. I called back and they sent out a new pizza and told me they were giving me a $25 credit to my account and I had 90 days to use it. I went to use that credit today. The gentleman (Sean) that answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude. He kept interrupting and cutting me off. He told me he didn't see a credit and you have 30 days to use it (not 90). I explain that I was told 90 and even gave him the name of the manager that gave me the credit. Sean could even see the order on my account from 2 months ago. But no credit. He then said let me check something then asked what I wanted to order. After giving him the order he told me the total and I asked if that was after the credit. He ignored my question, cut me off mutliple times and kept telling me the total. I asked 3 times if I got the $25 credit. He literally didn't say anything but the total over and over again. Finally he said he wouldn't credit my order. He then called me "Ma'am" and I corrected him and said "sir". He didn't apologize for misgendering... nope. He just said "ooookkkk...." I then hung up on him. Called 15 mins later after I had calm down and asked to speak to a manager (Sean had answered the phone again). Sean then stated he was the manager. I asked for the corporate number and he just sat there for at least 10 second not saying anything. Then told me he didn't appreciate the way I was talking to him and hung up. All I asked for was the corporate number. I called back, simply and calmy asked for the number. He told me he was going to "ban my number". And hung up on me again. Still no corporate number... He was EXTREMELY disrespectful and unprofessional. If he actually is the manager he needs to get demoted or fired. I will NEVER use this pizza hut again. And I recommend no one uses...
Read moreThe Service was ok however I truly feel as if the Pizza Hut I knew and grew to love, is not fulfilling certain aspects of public expectations in which they have a responsibility and have previously met and succeeded. I ordered two pizzas which were ready at the time Pizza Hut notified me. The presentation of my pizza however was well dehydrated. My order looked as if it was three or four days old. The entire eat was parallel with the appearance. I don't think it was the particular location per say, I feel like Pizza Hut is dropping the ball. Everytime I have visited a Pizza Hut or had Pizza Hut within the past 3 years, I've felt as if I should've gone somewhere else or eaten something else. I've always loved Pizza Hut while growing up and I don't know if this is a lack of consideration for what is advertised vs. What is sold to the public or a lapse in executive judgment. I will continue to support the chain as I believe anything can be improved however The clock is definitely on. Even some of the newer local pizza shops are sometimes a better option. I think definitely the finished product is what needs major attention. I mean Dominos got their head back in the game a few years ago and now they are definitely scoring major points for cost, taste and presentation. Pizza Hut has got to step up to the plate like we all...
