Dunkin' — Restaurant in Durango

I had just started going to Dunkin in Durango more often because I’ve been a Dunkin coffee lover for over 10 years. The experiences I’ve had at this location detours me ever going back. Orders are commonly done incorrectly, it’s mismanaged and understaffed. One morning I had purchased an online order through the app for walk in pick up. Unfortunately one worker slept in; another showed up and didn’t bother to notify anyone and went home. Leaving one poor gal alone for several hours resulting in a 45 min wait for an online order that I could’ve picked up if the doors were open. That girl needs a raise. She’s always nice and helpful. Next scenario. I order my coffee and a bagel. The woman says they are out of medium sized cups and offers me a different size. I asked would I be charged differently? She said no; we’ll charge you for a medium. I get my order and I pay with the app. She doesn’t give me my bagel or receipt and guides me to the next window. The man comes up and gives me my drink I ask for the bagel and the receipt. I much he begins to tell me, we can’t give it to you it’s freezing up our systems and since you paid with the app, we can’t give you the $1.99 deal because you already used your app. You can pay for the bagel but you also have to pay for the drink and won’t get your $1.99 deal. I asked specifically did she charge me for a medium? He said yes. They in fact charged me for a large. I go back the next day at 6 am because that’s when they are open per Google only to find out nobody is there at 6:10am.

Before going to this location, ask yourself is it really worth it? Just go to Durango joes or circle K even for your coffee. The owner and staff clearly have no idea what they’re doing or how to resolve any complaints against their store. Who’s even interviewing these...

I enjoy dunkin as a treat. On my way to pagosa this morning I thought a fine idea to grab myself an ice coffee and a bacon egg cheese and some munchkins for my coworkers. I pull in and it’s me and another customer who was already at window. I order and all is well, I pull up. I watch the person hand my munchkins to the person in front of me who had already ordered?!? They hand it back. They get their things and leave. I pull up. He hands me my ice coffee and tells me I’m all set… okay wow for all I ordered @ 22.68? I ask. I tell him I ordered 25 munchkins and a bagel sandwich as well. …. Then It was… Ohhh I found your order you have to pay now. “Sorry” Okay not a problem at all, I was surprised at first anyway. I take the munchkins and bag assuming it’s my sandwich. Half way down the road I find 2 donuts I didn’t order and no sandwich. My advice here today is get yourself together dunkin. I paid for food I didn’t get, you offered to comp me and you should have in hind side. Stupid me for not checking the bag but I recited my order to you twice, and 3 times if you count at the drive thru speaker. Horrible way to run your business. This place has absolutely no idea what they are doing. Very unprofessional staff. Been here twice, once near opening day and waited at the menu for 20 minutes past open and didn’t hear anyone. Pulled to window and eventually someone peeped their head out and took our order on a piece of paper. Multiple people pulled up and left after waiting. Parking lot was dark. Decided to let this slide, it was brand new. Came back again today and had a very similar experience. Pulled up to this location and once again the parking lot is dark, none of the lights are on, it’s almost like they want to remain invisible. Order was taken pretty quick, but came to window and they could not figure out Apple Pay. Paid with card. While waiting for food, someone came up to the window, peeked their head out the window to look at the line, then went back inside. For a couple minutes, I proceeded to watch all kinds of people walk back and forth talking and socializing with each other and stand around.
