Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Durango

This was the worst meal I have ever had! I saw Freddy’s offers any of their burgers as a “lettuce wrap”. Don’t waste your money. This was so disgusting I could not even eat it. Firstly, I ordered my wrap without onions, and as I waited nearly 15 minutes for them to make it, I could see them sloppily prepare my meal through the drive thu window and grab a handful of raw onions. Great… Then he handed it over to a completely perplexed young woman who could not figure out how to finish assembling it by wrapping it up with the paper. She casually talked and walked around, with no worry there was a line of cars piling up behind me.

She proceeded to attempt a few times to walk, talk and wrap before just wrapping it burrito style (with the paper wrapped within the lettuce mind you- making it so you had to disassemble everything to get paper away from the burger meat) and then decided to cut the remaining lettuce and paper off with a knife.

When I received it, it was impossible to eat. Where she had cut the wrap, there were bits of paper shredded into every first bite. There was so much sauce oozing from every side of it, it soaked through the paper and ripped open immediately after attempting to eat. The lettuce did not even wrap around the entire of the lettuce wrap, so the cheese was imbedded into the paper and you basically have to just shove your face towards the food/wet paper wad and hope some gets into your mouth before spilling all over your lap. I didn’t even finish it. Threw it away the next place I could to basically wash my hands and face. This...

I have to say, I used to go to this location pretty regularly. I am no longer going to be a customer of Freddy's. I will be going to Famburger even though it's out of my way.

The service has gotten so much worse. Pulled up to the drive thru and told him my order including my size of fries and drink. Prime Rib Steak burger and Diet Pepsi was my order. Got asked "what else?" Said nothing else. "Okay what size you would like?" I say medium. "What else?" I say nothing again "Okay uhhhh were out of Diet Pepsi would you like Diet Dr Pepper?" I'll take an unsweet tea. "Okay, uhhh What else?" I had to tell him I didn't want anything else 4 or 5 times.

After I pulled to the window he took my card, my drink was right there at the window. He didn't hand me my drink and just gave me back my card. The food got made and he had disappeared. I was watching him mess around with coworkers rather than actually work. The manager came up to the window and handed me the bag and looked like he was lost in the sauce. Had to ask him for Fry Sauce, my Drink and a Straw. One after the other. He said he "wasn't sure what he had done" I directly asked him if he was high or something and the Manager immediately got quiet and didn't say anything.

Oh and to make the cherry on top I didn't get napkins for a big greasy burger. Thanks Freddy's you're supposed to be...

Freddy’s as a corporation & business should put more care & effort into their restaurants, ESPECIALLY this location! When this location first opened up it was always busy but, a month after the initial opening...the place was VISIBLY suffering. As soon as you walked in to order, you were met with teenagers cussing, dirty, residue left on the floor from spilled beverages, table’s that were clearly being neglected from cleaning, stressed out employee’s rushing/messing up order’s, slow performance time, and dirty bathrooms. There’s several issues with this place but the biggest one is the people you are hiring! It’s not a great image to have when irresponsible, disrespectful, & slow teenager’s run your entire store..going in just to get an order fixed isn’t even possible anymore, you just get another messed up order AGAIN because , your employee’s are high out of they’re mind..some of these teenager’s can even be seen by the dumpster smoking or hitting a vape. You can’t even go through the drive through peacefully without having all these disrespectful teens gawking at you through the window and clearly laughing & making jokes about you…once again not a great image or reputation to have as a business...
