Stopped by for my first time today..I have been wanting to try this spot out for a while now.
I came in on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The spot was still packed with no available outdoor seating on that day. Still dealing with covid so it wasnt totally packed, just at capacity for social distancing purposes.
I was able to get a seat at the bar however. In all fairness for this review, my waiter was having an off day. He couldnt get my drink order right to save his life lol, poor guy was dealing with a lot I guess. I enjoyed a Mountain dew rather than a Sierra mist which I ordered. Actually also got a Pepsi first instead of the Sierra mist, then came the mountain and finally the Sierra mist I ordered. No extra charge for the mixup so all good.
The bar looks plentiful, I'm not a drinker so that doesnt do much for me but I have to add it because it a bar and it did look like they would have whatever u want. They also make spiked milkshakes. For some reason I sont think I'd wanna try alcohol and milk, but again, I'm not a drinker so what do I know.
Now the food!! I had a smokehouse burger. It had pulled pork and fried onions and cheese and mmmmmm it was just good. I love a good burger and I was definitely humming and dancing as I ate. A good sign that I'm thoroughly enjoying my meal. The special Bad Daddy sauce is really good. It added just the right flavor to the burger. The fries were good. Nothin special but not bad at all. That burger was the star of the show hands down. The portion size was hefty. I couldnt finish the last bite for the life of me.
I am definitely coming back here again..I gotta try the rest of the burgers and some dessert next time. I recommend the place for sure.
I rated 4 stars really because o dont give 5 stars like that. The place was totally fine. I would maybe prefer a seat next time but that's not the places...
Read moreI'm copying my husband's review so it won't get lost because he reviewed this place before and went back to edit his review. And I'd like to add some factors so others could understand why for us is so frustrating. 1- we have a toddler (2yo) and by the time we got a table, it was 1h30pm. So who knows what time our son would have lunch, and that would delay his routine for the rest of the day. 2 - I'm pregnant and have allergies to wheat flour. Few restaurants offer gluten-free buns. My options are limited. I'm glad Chick-fil-A also has it and we could preorder or food after leaving this restaurant. 3 - No other groups/family had infants or kids with them. Not that we should be treated better, but surely not be treated worse. I'd like to be treated the same way. So here is my husband review. "We've been coming for a while now, and I still love the burgers. But today, I experienced my first disrespectful experience since I arrived in the US, which should tell you something about how awful it was. I was put on the waitlist. They didn't call me. My name was completely gone off of the list. I gave my name to a second hostess. She looked at the list, looked at me, my wife, and my toddler, and continued to call other people who were just walking in. By that time, 4 to 5 groups were assigned to their tables, including groups of the same size. But the climax of the disrespect was when a group of 3 walked in and were served their table immediately. I was standing in front of the hostess and was completely ignored. I never felt so disrespected in my entire life. I had to say it out loud: "I'm sorry! But what's going on here?" The hostess then apologized and sat us. But, the damage was done. I couldn't eat there anymore, not today, at least. I never called a company to fire anyone, but if this becomes a pattern, this hostess needs...
Read moreManager wanted to argue about my burger being raw in the middle when I asked for Medium Well. The bacon was also poorly cooked for their Signature Bacon Burger. I came in near closing time and all they care about is closing versus taking care of the people.. A single diner if it is one of their favorites will spend on average at least 30.00 on their meal. She told me I was being aggressive about my meal and no I wanted to know why my burger was raw! I am a nice guy and am letting them make me a new one to go. Didn’t even offer to bring me a coke refill either. I would of still paid for my meal considering But Raw food out of any kitchen is unacceptable. If you are going to try and lie to me about how my food is cooked then you should understand why I am upset.... You can’t go anywhere to support your favorite restaurants when they throw protocol out the door because the entire staff just wants to go home during the last thirty minutes of being open. I forgot to mention I was told in a fast way to get my food in prior to 8:30 pm because that’s when they stop cooking food... Don’t seat a paying customer if your not willing to take care of them properly.
Also I lost interest in the remake since I never got offered a Soda to go or even a refill while I was waiting.
Manager refunded hopefully my meal but due to lack of knowledge of food and lovely under cooked bacon and lying about how my burger was cooked to my face. This franchise has lost my business.. Maybe when their kitchen staff learns how to cook a medium well burger properly and staff revisits the proper way to cook a burger for medium, medium well and etc. If a manager can’t tell the difference between a raw burger and medium well then that’s an issue that needs to be...
