Biscuitville — Restaurant in Durham

I bought breakfast there this morning and I saw in the window that the ranch that they were handing out was half the size of the ranch that the other Biscuitville's give out I've never been to this one before so I ask for four ranch which would have measured up to two full ranch cups. The lady at the window turns and looks at the manager and says she asked for for ranch, the manager stood there for a minute then he opened the window and said that he can only give me three I told him that I would pay for the extra ranch if that was the problem he told me at 7:35 in the morning that she doesn’t have anybody else to make the ranch and it’s made every day I would assume at 7:35 that they still had plenty of ranch. He just didn’t want to give me ranch and I don’t appreciate it especially when the cup sizes are smaller and my preference when I’m eating my breakfast is to have a lot of ranch and I’m also willing to pay for my preference, which he basically refuse to give me. I have never gone to a restaurant where I was refused condiments even if I was willing to pay for them. People like what they like. Customer service is not there. From a managerial point of view of you think people are abusing sauce you should put a price on excess like every other place otherwise limiting customers on their preference is to say you want them to enjoy their food today how you would like them to. I called in a catering order Monday, July 10 for pickup Wednesday, July 12 at 9AM. I arrived at 9:09AM on Wednesday and was told my order was not ready and it would be 20 minutes by someone who was later identified to me as the manager by another employee. I was rung up by the cashier and my payment was accepted. At 10AM my order was walked over to me by another employee after being an hour later than my requested time and 30 minutes later than the time I was told. The cashier offered apologies to me and another employee wondered about me being there so long, but I never received any apologies from the manager. I was not offered a drink while I waited nor a discount for the order not being ready. This service left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will not use this location for a catering order ever again. This lack of service caused me to be 30 minutes late for the event I was hosting and if it had not been for the fact that it was for an event, I would have cancelled my...

Where has this place been all my life?! Fabulous, perfectly-made biscuits -- flaky on the outside and fluffy and still a bit doughy on the inside. We had the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit the first day we were in town. It was so tasty, and we had such a great experience that we went back the very next morning and tried the Spam, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. And do NOT forget to try the Strawberry Muffin -- THE BEST I've ever tasted! Great prices, too!

Staff was AMAZING! In fact, there was a very friendly staff member who made it a point to say, "hi" and check in with people at each table. She knew the regulars by name, too...very impressive. Also, the lady making the biscuits was always smiling and letting people take pictures of what she was baking.

I believe Biscuitville is a chain. I hope the others have staff as wonderful as this one. We are going to keep an eye out for their restaurants whenever we're in North Carolina...planning to stop everytime...
