This place has some of the best TexMex style Mexican food in the Durham area. We ordered delivery from here for many years before dining at the actual restaurant.

Atmosphere is quaint with the Mexican theme painted tables and chairs that you saw a lot of in the 90s.

Service staff is generally good, but often stretched thin with the number of Grubhub and other delivery people doing pick up. I would still give them a 4 or 5 star as they hustle to try and ensure good service. The reason for my negative rating is due to our last trip. We were leaving roughly an hour before closing time, and my wife had to use the ladies' restroom. When she tried to go in a service staff member was in the rest room cleaning, which is fine, the staff member normally allows you to use the facilities and then returns or asks for a few minutes to complete their task before you use the facilities. Instead of this, the staff member cussed my wife out that the fact she had to use the bathroom would mean that she had to stay later and simply continued to berate my wife over her need to use the facilities. I’ve been a long time goer since 2021 during COVID times. Countless times I’ve order and have always supported and mentioned how good of food and service they had.

Until I brought my friend to dine-in and I genuinely mean the absolute worst service you can imagine. Server had ZERO table side manners. No hi or welcome, straight up “what do you want to drink”, I go along and when the waiter returns asks for our order. Our cheese dip app never showed up, the food was surprisingly quite burnt and quality sucked from what it use to be. Very disappointing, we felt our presence wasn’t welcomed from the moment we walked in.

Even asking for a to-go box seemed to be a heavy challenge for the server, zero empathy and in terms of customer service, I wish I could give her a zero! Congrats - you lost a customer of almost 4yrs and I’ll never be back again. Cheers and...

New to town & been there 3 times now. Will NEVER go back due to fraudulent activity concerning payment for 3rd visit. I called & left a voicemail asking for them to call me back w/my concern & got no reply. I stopped by in person hopeful to resolve being charged twice for 2 separate amounts, 2nd charge occurring over 2 weeks after I had actually dined there. The woman displayed the worst customer service ever & told me I need to call my bank! Not even trying to do any sort of service recovery nor taking any responsibility after I showed her my bank account online, proving that this establishment made an unauthorized charge on 3/5!
