Bojangles — Restaurant in Durham

I usually don’t leave reviews unless it’s really good or really bad. I pretty much waist my money every time i go, I go again in hopes that it was just the ppl cooking, but today I went & yet again the food was trash! I got the 4 peace supreme dinner & the chicken was hard & had some weird taste to it, the last time I got it, it had the same taste, I can’t even describe it, it’s a weird nasty taste, not just once but every time. The biscuit was so wet like someone spit on it. & the tea is always watered down. Don’t even go at night because they’re out of everything, I went thru drive thru & ordered fries then when I got to the window they said they didn’t have anymore fries to pick something else so I said mash potatoes & they gave me dirty rice. Why even ask me if you’re just going to choose for me & they don’t even act like they feel bad about it. This is people’s hard earned money they are waisting. It’s discusting. I won’t be eating here anymore, I’ve already cut off McDonald’s, & it sucks bc there isn’t many restaurants in my area to choose from. People just cook your food bc these fast food restaurants are nasty & don’t care about your hard earned money. It’s no telling what they’re chicken is made of, not fresh probably lab grown. Bojangles won’t be getting my money anymore for sure. The service sucks too, they don’t genuinely care that you’re waisting your time & money. They spit in the food knowing that this food are being served to ppl’s children. I know because I’ve had a friend who worked at bojangles & actually seen the manager spitting in the food. She just tells me this today 🤦🏻‍♀️. Someone needs to shut this...

This Bojangles has it going on! The service is top notch in courtesy and accuracy of my walk up order. Their drive thru service had a line, moving quickly with not one, but two order takers working outdoors, in the rain, thus morning. Their sanitation practices and protocols are Very Aware and Proactive in limiting contagion. Staff at the entrance ensure no more than 3 are in the lobby, and ensure distance between the one at the order window and one entering. They clean those door handles after Every Use, every touch, limiting contact spread, just how my medical team and pharmacy does between patients! My order was accurate, even with 2 non-menu requests. If it isn't, they gladly have replaced any misfires and offered free tea or side in compensation previously, with two orders. The lady in the entry way, the young male cashier, the gentleman giving me my order were all efficient, kind, covid19-self-limiting, sanitizing, mask-wearing, and above and beyond what I've witnessed distanced and experienced personally in eating establishments. Oh, a staff person was outside offering condiments and additional napkins/straws etc on 2 carts loaded down with supplies for after you get your drive thru order and note more is needed. That is a first-time sight that other fast food joints just don't...

I went through the drive thru and ordered the Grilled chicken sandwich combo. When I drove up to the window, I received my drink and I was waiting for the rest of my food. I could hear them calling out for the sandwich and after a minute, they told me to drive up to a parking space and wait. I waited and after 15 minutes I stepped inside and asked to talk to the manager on duty. I told him my story and how long I've been waiting. He started asking around and it seemed like some people didn't know what he was talking about. He came back and said it'll still be a couple more minutes. I asked why, It's already been 15 minutes and he said it takes that long to cook it from Frozen. After about 3 more minutes, he gave me my food. I told him if I would have known it was going to take this long I would have switched to another item on the menu. He seemed surprised that no one told me. I didn't ask but he did not offer a refund, coupons or free item. Once I got to my car and drove away, I realized the sandwich was way too hot to even touch. I had to wait about 7 minutes for it to cool down and it was still hot when I did eat it. While waiting, I started eating the fries, they had no seasoning on them. I do like going to Bojangles and the food they serve but this is probably the worst...
