Hadn't had Pizza hut in a long time and while me and my four year old sat around watching movies I thought it would be perfect to order pizza from sherron road location being that I stay near mineral springs. I placed an order online at approximately 8:58p receiving an email that the order would arrive around 9:58p. As I continued to watch the television I noticed the time said 10:10p and still no pizza or call so I called the location and the phone was picked up and hung up on me twice and when someone finally picked up she listened to my issue said hold on and she hung up on me so I called back again and hung up on again and then called another time explaining the situation to another person and she told me that they only had 2 or 3 delivery drivers so it will take some time and it will also take additional time because I had an online order(online orders at other places I have never had that problem) she then proceeded to say that if I did not want the pizza she could void it out by then it was 10:45 still no pizza and I also stated well when these things happen you should call and make people aware I asked how soon could it get out she said 20 mins I kindly and patiently waited to receive a call 30 mins later asking did I still want my pizza and said they told me last time it would be in 20 mins they then said it will be on the way now however another 30 mins passes and im calling furious because the money was taken off of my card and still no pizza and my daughter is now asking repeatedly for pizza so I called 20 times just to get the phone picked up and hung up all 20 times!!!!!! I then got in my car to go there and I find the manager outside talking to a co worker as they got in the car I said so this is what yall do take peoples money off their card don't send them pizza hang out pocket the money and go home this then scared the manager he is like come on in I will take care of you and I said the only way u can take care of me is to void that order and he said but its out for delivery now I told him I didn't care consider it free...thank ggodnes I got the money back cause I arrived home being greeted by the driver with a cold dry pizza at 12am my four year old going to bed hungry I was too furious and they don't have to worry about me or my...
Read moreI visited this Pizza Hut location today for the first time since 2018. To start with the positives, the food was pretty good. The pizza was hot and fresh, and the salad bar (while featuring limited options) was also in good shape. I enjoyed the food. If I was rating it for takeout rather than dine-in, I might have given it four stars or at least three.
The service was also decent.
Everything else was laughable, though! We literally laughed about it, multiple times.
1 - They gave us disposable cups even though we were dining in. 2 - I asked for lemon with my water. They gave me a little plastic packet of lemon juice. 3 - The only utensils were disposable plastic ones. 4 - There was only one plate available at the salad bar - luckily for me, I was the only salad bar customer at 12:30pm on a Monday, so I got the plate. 5 - When they brought the food to the table, they brought it in takeout containers, even though we were obviously dining in. 6 - What we paid (about $26 for two, not including tax or tip, for 6 bone-in wings, a personal pan pizza, and a salad with two waters) was more than we would have paid at some restaurants I consider a step up, such as Olive Garden ($10.49 weekday special, entree, salad, bread) or Chili's ($10.99 special, burger, salad, fries, soda).
The disposable and take-out oriented presentation gave it a feel of being a very cheap meal. The bill was, I wouldn't say expensive, but also not cheap. As for the atmosphere, it wasn't great, but I guess it can always be worse. Nobody bothered us, since we were the only ones there, except take-out customers coming and going at the front of the restaurant.
I'm curious, if you already own plates, glasses and silverware, Is it really cheaper to use disposable food containers, disposable cups and disposable silverware, than to wash the plates, glasses and silverware you already own? They must still have that stuff somewhere.
Again to be fair, the actual food was decent, and the service was OK. That is why the rating isn't lower.
Maybe I will try again in another...
Read moreVery rude and unknowledgeable manager, she said she was a district manager named Samantha. She knew absolutely nothing about the menu items where she works and was arguementative. First my credit was not applied appropiately which had to be fixed, than she wanted to go back and forth about the upcharge price for pan pizza, i had to show her the menu price on my phone to correct her, than she wanted to go back and forth about the triple treat and what comes with that i had to again correct her and show her the she was wrong trying to overcharge me. She claimed she could not find it in computer but the person who took the order had no problems, had to show her and plus again it right on the menu online. Pizza hut needs to really be careful.who they hire as management its not a good look when the customers knows more than the manager, and i do not work there, this is a prime example of bad for business and embarrasing. Not once did she apologize for her being wrong about literally "everything" instead blamed it on the computer and told me" it is what it is" i told her i am doing a review she said " its fine it comes back to the store" . This was complete human error not a computer fault as i knew these things myself so Instead of being rude and arguentative she should of took time to research and study the menu to get more knowledge and not be so clueless. This experience as much as i come here was horrible. This location needs better management. A manager should act more professional and not like this towards...
