Chelsea Cafe — Restaurant in Durham

The place in inside s office building but very easy to get too and has plenty of parking. The place is quite big inside and has some seating outside as well. I ended up getting a latte bagel and a breakfast burrito. All of which were well above my expectations. I got a caramel latte and I loved that the coffee could still be tasted over the milk and caramel. The bagel was one of the best I have ever had. They are bagels that are shipped in but they taste like they were freshly made that morning. The breakfast burrito was a great mix and had a lot of meat while still being under 5 bucks. I’m always hesitant to try Cafe’s as the food tends to be mediocre at best with liquid eggs and prepackaged already cooked skimp pieces of bacon that’s just reheated for use. Not even the case here! I’ve ordered online a couple times and decided to stop in this morning. First let me say that this is probably one of the cleanest establishments I have ever seen. Self order station was simple and very easy to use. The food was absolutely delicious. My eggs were cooked perfect! And yes they use actual real shell eggs. The grits are top tier. First time eating here. I was in the area pulled up google maps and searched for restaurants that were open now and this place came up second on the list. Had good reviews so I had to give it a try. Ordering through the kiosk was nice, so I wound up ordering the Northwestern breakfast wrap. This is the salmon one. Waited no longer than about 5 minutes. Once in the car had to give it a try while it was hot. Very very good fresh ingredients. Spinach, purple onions, tomatoes, smoked salmon, a caper sauce and a fluffy folder egg.
