Hi Everyone, Response from owner : We are truly sorry for the bad experience you had, if you actually came to Thali. A lot of competitors are posting fake reviews on google about Thali. If this review is legitimate, please come to us so that we can compensate you.
My reply : Excuse me i am not here to write fake reviews like the way you guys give worst food and second thing still you don't even have sense to understand its about the health not the money and you are saying i can compensate you .
We are certainly not what you have described in your review. We have served the same quality paneer to others and you are the first one to ever call our food unhygienic.
My reply : If you have served the quality and you are saying others are good so here you want me to share the pics where i stopped my vehicle so my wife can vomit and share you the bottles which i used and how many bottles it took to wash and all or what
The reviews are not manipulated, they are in fact true reviews. The issue is, other competitors do not like that people love the food at Thali.
My Reply: You are just trying to escape here and its not other competitor do not like here its me being the customer have faced problem with the food served at Thali " you dont even understand that value being the enterpreneur and never ever calculate everything to compensate with money .
This sounds like a well planned review against Thali. Again, if this is not fake, show us your receipt and we will compensate you.
My Reply : excuse me for your kind information if its planned do you think i should travel from long distance from charlotte and have food here and write review . And for your information my wife came with corporate colleagues and once after i went to pick her immediate she started vomiting
You mentioned that you recommended “lobster bhuna” at our restaurant, which tells us that this is a well planned fake review to tarnish Thali’s reputation. We do not sell lobster.
My Reply: Here lobster bhuna (i never tried this item in my lifetime ) here while before i click on post it was greyed out and it was mistakenly clicked on lobster ( here once again its proving that you are taking unfortunate credits to your account and valid one you are saying as competitor issues ." Strange managemnt too "
Request to all customer and food lovers : If you are traveller and come on occasionally never ever try to eat at THALI rating is manipulated and if soemthing happens he only ask for cheque and compensate you amount you paid where in he dont care about healht status and...
Read moreI have been wanting to come to Thali Indian Restaurant for quite some time now. And finally made the trip from Wake forest area to grab some take out for the whole family. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Basil Chicken Curry & Palak Paneer.
Chicken Tikka Masala, xtra spicy, I enjoyed it too much. It was just the right amount of spicy that other family members can have some. I could have told them make it “Back Home Indian Village type extra extra spicy” like we like it back home. But then my kids are “Born in the USA” they were “Born in the USA” would not be able to have it. So I ask for fresh green chilies in the side and they happy accommodated. It was one of the BEST Chicken Tikka Masala I have had in a very long time. And the chicken was white meat which it normally is and let me tell you it was perfectly cooked not at all on the dry side.
Goat Curry, spicy, what a wonderful aroma, what delicious taste. wife enjoyed it in two sittings again like in Chicken Tikka Masala, there was plenary of goat pieces to go with ample amount of Curry. The goat was tender I enjoyed it as well. So tasty.
Basil Chicken Curry, medium heat level, this was a different unique dish, I was wondering how it will taste, I got it based on another reviewer. I want to thank that reviewer, that this was a wonderful dish. One of my children does not eat spicy food, for that matter a lot of Indian food, this with medium heat they liked it, it became there favorite new dish. I agree. It was Unique, tasty. I will always be partial to Chicken Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer and Saag (mustard greens).
Palak Paneer, spicy, I liked that they did not purée the Palak. You could tell the leaves were there. But the interesting part is this is the first restaurant that made tadka like we do hat home. You could tell the spices and herbs that were comming into your mouth as you took a bight. Saying that I enjoyed every bight of Palak Paneer while closing my eyes so I can feel the dish.
Over all my first time at Thali Indian Restaurant was a wonderful experience. Right from ordering the food, to take it home 40 min away and eating it. I can’t wait to go back.
Oh I almost forgot we had garlic Naan, that was backed to perfection in their clay over. At many other restaurants sometimes they give you not so cooked Naan. But our 4 Naan’s were cooked...
Read moreA-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! There aren’t enough words to describe how flavorful and fresh the food is here. We started with the Chilli Chicken and Aloo Teeki for appetizers. The Chilli Chicken was fresh, juicy and had an amazing indo-Chinese flavor. The Aloo Teeki was also fresh, moist and sooo flavorful. It was perfectly adorned with several chutneys and could not have been more perfect. For our main courses we ordered the Vegetarian Thali, Chicken Tikka Masala and Punjabi Kadi. The Vegetarian Thali has Shahi Paneer which was perfectly tangy and spicy and had some green peppers and onions for flavor. The Royal Dal Makhani paired perfectly with rice and the Naan. Finally, the Channa Masala... what can I say? It was so tasty. So fresh. Perfectly spicy with an array of flavors. You can tell the owners take great pride in serving authentic Indian cuisines. I ordered all of my food Indian spicy, which was incredibly spicy and perfect for my taste buds. The Chicken Tikka Masala also had a great flavor and the chicken was fresh and juicy. Some Indian restaurants precook chicken and reheat it as it’s ordered. Thali cooks the chicken as it’s ordered and this helps a great deal with the flavor and juiciness. The Punjabi Kadi was the best! The flavor of this gravy was like no other. I really can’t explain it. Try it. I almost forgot to mention the Mango Lassi - best flavor of any Indian restaurant I’ve tried. One thing to note - they ask for your preferred spice level when you order. If you eat hot sauce regularly but not typical Indian food, go with medium spice. Indian spicy is as spicy as it gets and while I find it to be amazing, most people who “eat spicy food” cannot handle this...
