Me and my nephew both prior military thought we would rent a PlayStation from this place Rent_A- Center. so I am the older vet Disabled Marine my nephew is a young buck marine take my word for it don’t even mess with Rent-ta-center rented at the end of February Then driver Banged on my door like the police on 1 st covered the peep hole & all so on the 1st not the 3rd of March 2019 when I get paid and, what we agreed on after he was luckily let in the house instead of calling the police, and having this nut locked up for pulling this stunt he ask you ready, To make your payment I am like wow the dude that done the contract ask me you get paid on the third right I said yes so no game he gave a extra controller no game no bundle nephew said that’s ok so I filled out all this paperwork no military discount a plain old PlayStation 4 console old one yep. So since he said be due the third the driver Banged on my door on the first of March 2019 2 days later so we never even opened nothing the new extra controller the one still in pack I gave it all back. So they stole over $20 dollars from me agreement due the 3rd because there full of greed & lie to you terribly about amount and, I have heard of phone calls they never even called if you want to deal with a business like this please think if they repo without phone call or nothing within 2 days into a contract ok Good Luck. A terrible place! I filled out an application online on a Tuesday, I went to the location on Thursday and my TV was to be delivered between 10am-1pm Friday. I called around 11 on Friday asking was my TV still being delivered. They had the nerve to tell me they couldnt verify my references. So you had 3 whole days and still chose to do it on a Friday at the time people would be at work. So I added more numbers, And I called all my references to make sure they would answer.(they don’t answer unknown numbers). Once I got the last call from my references I called back by that time it was 5pm Friday. When I called back, they said my application was denied and they couldn’t tell me why. Who does that? It’s sad, I’ve seen so many bad reviews on RAC, people told me not To even bother. So, I gladly went and got my refund. It was a sign from god. I can’t remember her name, but she put my info in for the SECOND time and still had it all incorrect as if I wasn’t in her face spelling and correcting everything. This has been the worse experience, but it’s to be expected and I shouldn’t be surprised. DO not shop at rent a center PERIOD. Try Aaron’s, if you can wait for your product try...

My husband and I were thinking about renting from here being that we just moved on this side of town. I called prior to today to ask a couple of questions and the lady that answered the phone sounded so rude as if it was a burden to answer a question. I was understanding about being put on hold because I too work customer service and I know other customers possibly could come in. If dealing with customer's questions aggravates you then this is not the profession for you. Unfortunately, we had to take our business elsewhere because I don't want to have to deal with this kind of attitude and rudeness anytime I need to make a payment or need other stuff. I contemplated on writing this but someone needs to know so proper training can take place. I think I remember the lady's name but I won't post it here for professional reasons so I will call cooperate on Monday to discuss this further and provide the name I wrote down.
