Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Durham

I go here sometimes for food. It makes me think back to when I worked at Quiznos and we were at war. We were at war with the middle east because of 9/11 and we were at war with subway and Jersey Mike's. Jersey Mike's didn't really scare us, because we were new and we had a fancy toaster. Didn't work out when 08 hit. Subway brought in their own toasters and Jersey Mike's stayed making sandwiches the right way. I moved on after I got fired for giving away one too many free pieces of cheese. I remember that night, because I did a burnout in my 95' Z28 that lasted from one side of the parking lot to the other. That store shut down because of the recession a few months after that. I went back in the night and put the outdoor lounge chairs on the roof of the building as a prank. Good times, but now I have to get back to work. Thank you for the sandwiches and keep up the good work. If $BBBY hits $20 tomorrow I'll tip big next time I'm there after I rebuild my Subaru engine.

For when the need for a classic italian hits.

I love Jersey Mike's Classic Italian sub. It's a perfect sandwich and now that there's a location closer to my office I'll probably be making more lunch time mistakes by ordering this marvelous sandwich more often than I probably should. This location is located in a very bustling and easy to get to shopping center. It's actually where a previous sub place was located year's ago and left a void for a quality lunchtime sub. I've been ordering here over the past couple of months for in store pick up. This location at the moment is for either in store ordering or in store pick up. There's no indoor dining and that's smart for the safety of the staff. Keep them safe. The order portal on desktop and mobile is super easy and lets you customize your sandwich how you like. I've picked up lunch a few times from this location and the staff is always super friendly and always has my order ready to go. Considering how brief I'm in store the fact they are that polite says a lot. This is a wonderful Jersey Mike's location. Highly recommended if you need to satisfy those big...

UPDATE: Since writing this review, the owner reached out to me and explained that the young man was not mad at me - he was mad at himself for making a mistake - yet there was no way I could have known that. I’m editing my review as I appreciate the follow up and I’ve had better experiences than bad.

I appreciate the explanation and I buy here faithfully. I always leave the team a 20.00 tip when my sale is but 24.94. I order the same - giant #7 and regular #13. I ordered today and the guy who took my order mixed the order - put #13 meat on giant sandwich and #7 on regular bread. I informed him he got them mixed and that he couldn’t fix it and put the Turkey from #7 on the bread the pork meat had been on as my son doesn’t eat pork. I told him he could put the pork on the other bread as it’s not a concern for me. He got angry and began aggressively remaking the order. It was a mistake by HIM, yet one that couldn’t be fixed by switching bread. I was disappointed and won’t buy there again. I’ll patronize...
